I'm not sold on draining the oil this way. The sump is designed with the drain bolt at the lowest point of the pan. Shoving a hose down the dip stick tube, how do you know you're reaching that same low point -- and is there any reason to think that the dip stick tube gets you anywhere near the low point of the pan? Assuming that the the drain tube is not reaching the bottom of the pan and you're leaving an unknown amount of dirty oil behind with each change -- is it reasonable to expect that you're leaving behind the worst of the sludge, and that this left behind oil will get worse with every oil change? If the choice is between this an no oil change, then this is certainly better than nothing. But I don't think this is a replacement for draining the pan.

To answer all these questions you have to drain the oil by removing the plug then put the hose through the dipstick port , and use a flash light to see if you can see it from the drain hole . You will see it which proves to you that this method works . But removing 10 bolts from under the car to remove the plastic and remove the drain plug is the best of course if you don’t mind doing it . Remember , I pump the oil out when it’s hot , it’s different than doing it with cold oil .
