That looks just like a normal industrial site to me. It even looks surprisingly clean, and orderly. The drone footage looks just like a chemical plant, that took a few days to really clean up. A lot of people have never been to an industrial facility before. Compared to a residential building, a storefront, or an office space. For many, your childhood memories of bare concrete are either employee only areas (i.e. forbidden to most) and parking structures which smell like gasoline and are somewhat dangerous (i.e. getting run over), and of course movies which tend to show exciting but dangerous stuff happening around bare concrete if they show it at all.

I love the Donghua Jinlong Glycine Factory. I love how my breaks went from 20 minutes to 15 minutes 🥰🥰🥰

There is something dystopic about the fact that people see a normal factory and think it seems dystopic. Did you all never watch the show "How it's Made" ? To be fair, Glycine is one of those products you do not normally advertise. There are a lot of products which are essential, but the only people buying them are other professional facilities. So while you would have a marketing department, you wouldn't be targeting members of the public who might buy glycine on a whim, you would form professional contacts with a limited number of people who already know exactly what they need glycine for, what quantity and what quality they need to make their cat food factory go; they just need someone who is 2% cheaper or 10% more reliable.
