rosés register back then wasnt deep. it was on the lower side but not deep. she’s always had a pretty middle toned talking voice so when she sings and does high notes it’ll ofc go higher that’s how singing is! she bettered her technique over the years so she can sing longer durations. :)

Is it wrong to point out, that as a Singer, Y'all are irritating because You have no knowledge of what Voice means... yet everyone has that, insect in tummy, to appear knowledgeable...? Rosé had Old Technique and Tonality in GD song... Now Rosé has different Technique( mainly due to nasality and Twang ) and Tonality( due to aging )...

The vocal tone she has now is something that you have to be blessed to discover. The actual vocal coaches ( not the fake ones who act like professionals when it comes to Rosé) had reacted to her pre debut vocals and had said that she had found her own unique vocal tone which takes tears of training to discover. Don't downgrade her hardwork with your fake knowledge

Vocal coaches know she is achieving this thinner timbre by raising her larynx which is never healthy. Good tone is when you sound closest to your natural voice with proper technique. It is fine to screw with technique every now and then, stylistically, but she sings like this 100% of the time, that will have consequences. Coaches that deny this are pandering to the fandom to avoid getting targeted. Edit: just want to point out that Rosé is a good singer. She has talent and she works hard. The fault is within YG, just like they messed up Bom's voice over the years.

She did sound very good I’m the past but she’s way more comfortable in her tone now and her voice sounds so much more unique to me now.

I honestly think it's the opposite. In order to produce the sound that people want to hear, YG has made her strain when she uses her current tone. Her pre debut voice sounds natural and less strained.

Her old deep voice was so powerful and unique, I miss it a lot. She has grown so much in her vocals since then, I'm proud of her.

Her deep voice is strong and powerful, and nostalgic, whereas her sweet angelic voice is soothing to the ears. I love Rose a lot❤ now she gives off pop rock vibe and it really suits her.

It's so soothing and less nasally. I know it's easier for her to sing nasally since it's much easier to lean that way for most people but man her predebut vocals went so hard. I wish YG didn't try to model her after Park Bom

Like if i was in love i would expect it to feel like that song its such a good song just too underrated. her old voice was so precious and unique it also hit hard cuz it sounded so mature and ima not lie even without getting her voice restrained she would've been amazing and not "golden" vocal she would've been an Angelic vocalist, YG sucks for this, I hope Rose gets her old voice back because it's really good, her restrained voice wouldn't even allow her to reach those notes of old days; she is rated as a decent vocalist, however, if she didn't have her vocal restrained then she could've been a soprano level vocalist or even as good as Taeyeon.

i think her voice rn is where she is more comfortable than before.

For me roses voice is either a hit or miss, especially live. It sometime sounds angelic and sometimes hurts to listen to.
