Well, she’s a fruitcake. One could easily be fooled on their birthday. Why can’t we just be realistic, humble and normal and greet the ones we love on their birthday then just be honest about throwing them a party?? “IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK?” In Carol Burnett’s tone.😅

I hate those birthday surprises! It hurts the special person. They play with their emotional side and force them to feel neglected by the ones he loves and thought they loved them too. What sick play is that? There was this friend of the family who wanted to throw her daughter a birthday party right before she returned from school. The girl was turning 16, I think. The poor kid she returned when her mother and siblings were still busy preparing so they locked her out not answering the door. She needed to go, if you get the drift and they LOCKED HER OUT!! The poor kid got frustrated and sat down in tears assuming they were out. Then not a moment too soon the door opened and she got so angry with them while they were all smiles with Happy Birthday! 🥳😡. The mother pleaded for forgiveness explaining they loved her so much they thought to surprise her! SO MUCH FOR SURPRISING HER! She almost lost it there! 🤦🏻♀️
I just noticed that I LOVE LUCY is now on Paramount plus, but has been given TV PG! The show ended in 1957 and there were still a lot of taboo words and scenarios'. When she became pregnant, CBS WOULD NOT EVEN LET HER USE THE WORD 'PREGNANT'. Has our society become so thin-skinned that parents have to monitor '50's TV broadcast standards? This is beyond sick!
