Like said in the title, this is an AU where Megumi is a Zenin. This AU is from my serie "Dead Gojo AU". To sum it up, Gojo died and couldn't aquire reverse cursed technique during his fight with Toji. So nobody could stop Megumi's sale, and the Zenin clan took him in.
(Of course, we all know how the Zenin clan treats each other and the woman/girls. Megumi being Toji's kid is not in his favor as well).

It is said in the JJK official guide book, that Megumi hates red bell peppers (cause they are kinda sweet. And sweet things disgust him) and his main hobby/interest is reading 🤗📚
It is also said that Megumi is the kind of person to be more sad/depressed when an animal dies rather than a human 😭💔. That goes for his Shikagami (obviously) and any other animals 🐶
He hates the Zenin clan for obvious reasons.
He hates his name not only because of it's meaning, which is " blessing " (1) but also because it's a girl's name (2).
1) He doesn't understand how he could be a blessing when his dad left him. If he was one, then shouldn't he be loved ? 💔
2) And the feminine side is because of the Zenins. The Zenin clan treats really badly women/girls. Since Megumi has a "girl's" name, he is sometimes treated like one (so treated badly).
I think Megumi would hate crying. He is a pretty closed off person (even more so growing up with the Zenins), so showing emotions is a sign of weakness, something he doesn't understand and that probably scares him.
Same thing with the scars. A sign of weakness and abuse/trauma that he doesn't want to accept. He got those scars by a particularly nasty curse when he was thrown into the "disciplinary pit of curses."
He would LOVE Jujutsu High compared to the Zenin clan compound, and so everyone in it, especially Itadori and Kugisaki. ❤️🩹
Lastly, he loves his sister. Japanese speakers said he uses a particular speech with Tsumiki that Japanese typically use with family/very close ones. ❤️🩹
(And for manga readers, you know just how much of an impact Tsumiki had on Megumi.💔).

Istg I have always been obsessed with the father son relationship, the fact that they share clothes, Megumi takes Gojo’s habits, and Gojo often refers to him very closely just makes me so happy. I’ve always really, really wanted for Gojo to legally adopted Megumi and make him Megumi Gojo 😭

Around 10 maybe ? 9-12 idk 😭 Innate techniques appear at the age of 6-7 right ? So he got a few years to learn a bit and with years grew more rebellious so the zenins said "hop, in the disciplinary pit 🤗 try not to die brat" 😭😭💔 anyway, way too young for a scar like that

Okay so these are the fanfics I recommend for the dead Gojo AU, focused more on Gojo and Geto's relationships rather than Gojo, Megumi and Tsumiki All the fanfics are on the website ao3. The main relationship is Gojo/geto in (most ?) of them even if it's not explicit so if you don't like this pairing it's better to read others fanfics 😓(I'm sure there are plenty I'm just a big fan of satosugu so yeah 💀😭❤️) First one is "stay with me (early death)" by phontao Gojo dies in the star plasma vessel accident. Geto mourns his death and goes a bit insane. (Please read the tags before reading it. Also the ending is not a happy one😭 made me sad but I really liked it) 2. A thousand teeth (yours among them) by FlowerCitti Satoru also dies in the star plasma vessel incident but he becomes a curse. Really liked how they described Geto in this story ❤️ Another curse gojo AU is "bone white soaked through" by chuuyasoup I think in this one Toji dies by curse gojo- I don't remember it very well but definitely give it a chance ! 3. Drosera angelica by Maschinenwolf If you're not updated on the manga till chapter 236-237 then don't read it please 🙏 it contains major spoilers but basically it's like a reincarnation where Gojo and Geto become other people but with the same powers. They lost their memories but they will regain them (I think) the work is still in making though- but I found it interesting. 4. Detest by YoursTrulyWastaken This is a geto teacher AU 🤗 we see some interactions between Yuuji and Geto and basically they talk about the taste of curses (sukuna and Geto's technique) Very sweet I love geto as a teacher 😭😭❤️ 5. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS AUTHOR : absoluteass They made a serie "teacher geto au". I've read all of their work it's just amazing 😭 a lot of fluff where basically everyone is alive (My favorite gotta be the rainbow dragon fic omg 😔❤️😭)

There are two particular fics that I like with Gojo and Megumi that could also kind work with this AU ? The first one is Megumi stressing and thinking "what if Gojo hasn't taken us under his wing" and Gojo being the best father ever ❤️🩹 It's called "DÄD" by Haneichan on ao3 Work complete, not too long and really heartwarming 😭🫶❤️ In the second fic, Megumi was already taken in by the Zenins but Gojo comes to the rescue (though he is a little bit late). They try their best to navigate life with their trauma. Really sweet too, but much more angsty than the first fic- It's called "God, I have my father's eyes" by kidofhades_09 also on ao3🤗 it's a work in progress with already 22 chapters and 40 650 words ✨️
