The last part tore my heart. I'm one who loves her teachers, the fact that your favorite teacher was unsupportive must have really hurt. I'm sorry, hopefully success and happiness will more than replace that awful memory.

memories like those arent easily erased or smoothed out with money or happiness. They will usually linger in the back of the mind. Its up to him to find peace within himself and understand that at that time, it literally felt like America versus all arabs and muslims so i really hope he can soon understand it wasnt personal, it was just a misunderstanding

Fair skinned Palestinian here 🙋🏻‍♀️. We are half & half, my father is beautifully darker skinned. I don’t mind explaining it to shatter people’s ideas that are constructed in their minds. It’s amazing when I tell them I’m Christian, that’s the factor that they cannot understand although Palestine is Christianity’s birthplace.... we get asked when we converted.....

Once upon a time in history when Arabic was the wolrd's language and when the west took our arabic numbers and all of our amazing contributions to the world, back then we Arabs and Muslims didn't label people based on their race or didn't demolish Christianity.. And that's why the churches are still there and people of all faiths still living toghether. So I wish America stops jts bias against Arabs.. Not giving us any credit whatsoever..and as a Palestinian , I didn't know what to say when our food is being labeled as Israeli ..America what did the Jews do to you in your favor? they take your taxes , And what harm did the Palestinians do to you? Nothing.

Loving her, I have never wished to be loved back, but to see her happy. I also wonder if people saying "I love America", do not mean "I love to be IN America". I wonder.

Saudi Arabia, the Gulf states, Oman, Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Palestine and Lebanon are considered to be in Asia. I'm not sure why, since Cyprus is far from the nearest "European" country, Greece, but close to the Syrian and Turkish coasts and is considered European. Could it be a racial thing? Surely not. Then the rest of the countries classified as Arab, Egypt, Sudan, Tunisia, Libya, Algeria and Morocco, are all in Africa. Since there is so much in common between all of them it would make sense for all of them to occupy one box on the census form. It makes no sense for half of them to be called Asian and half to be called African when both Asia and Africa have such a wide variation of cultures and civilisations.

Actually, Arabs in America do very well. Highly educated, they make more money than most other groups including Whites, and there is less crime from Arabs than others. Perhaps, Arabs in France are like what you described because you have a lot of racism in France. I have never been to France but from what I hear that there is a lot of racism in your country.
