I lost my job - Endometriosis.

Such a hard video to film but so glad I did it.
Getting let go of my job due to having an illness was definitely one of the hardest things to overcome. I hope this video helps other women out there going through the same thing know they are not alone and that they can over come it ✨💛 EVx

I’m glad i can finally find a channel of someone that understand exactly what I’m going through. I feel like I don’t know anyone with endo.

This video made me cry. I was too fired as well. I became unreliable. Plus I had other health conditions added to endo. I really wished disability social security was available to women with endo. It literally sucks. I literally lost a part of myself last year when I got diagnosed. And inn 1 year: endo. Plus other health issues. Stress. Horrible thoughts and depression. Then fired! We need jobs. And companies dont care. They dont remember everything we have done for them on our good days even fighting though our bad days. Out of no where. We get pushed to the curb. I got fired while I was still in the hospital!!! They kicked me while I was down. I cried. My union fought for me. But then my job wanted more paperwork without waiting for it to get done. They fired me 2 days before Christmas on company paperwork. Not told me. Just sent out a letter. My husband and I had to move because he couldnt keep up with the expenses of our townhouse. We moved in to my old bedroom at my parents house this past week. The company canceled my insurance on January 31st. Without telling me. I found out in February when my dr apt was supposed to be $35 ended up being $75. And another apt from $25 + to $110. What?! I cannot afford to be sick. I am tired of fighting a job that doesn't care for me. I am sad and glad I am not the only 1. 1 in every 10 women. And we are losing our jobs as well as dealing with medical expenses, pain, medications, infertility. This disease sucks. And some of us have other conditions as well making it much much worse.

🌿I’m going through the same thing... I lost my job at the bank I worked so hard for because of endometriosis. I have to cry myself to sleep at night when I can sleep it’s like battling pain and trying to get some type of sleep. I’m glad I found your channel.🌿

Sending hugs! I feel your pain, I have struggled on and off for the last 3 years. I was diagnosed with endometriosis, ibs, fibromyalgia, trigeminal neuralgia, vit b12 deficiency, vit d deficiency, iron deficiency, had an appendectomy and had precancerous cells removed from my bowel. I haven't lost my job but I feel judged and not supported sometimes. They were kind enough to allow me to spread my full time hours over 5 days instead of 4 and to allow me not to be on call at night or work weekends which I am very grateful for but I feel like they don't value me or give me opportunities anymore. So glad I found you here and just followed you on Insta too.

I just had endo removal and found your channel. I love that there’s a mini community for endo sufferers. I also lost my government job because of endo. It sucks but I’ve decided to become a foster parent recently with my husband. I believe that is now what I am meant to be doing.

😭😭😭 this kills me. I’m so sorry you have been going through all of this. You are such an amazing and strong woman. thank you for sharing your story. Sending you healing vibes. Hope you are doing well!!! Nothing but love and respect for you. I’m gonna post some sort of video soon describing things but it’s so insane how life throws things all at the same time. Thank you for sharing your story. So much of it reminds me of my own. I was out of work for two years because of severe endo and other conditions. Now I work part time, remotely. I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to do more than this, because I never know what my health is going to be like from day to day. I'm so happy to have this job, but I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to build a real career, where I can support myself and stand on my own two feet. Thank you for talking about so many aspects of the struggle, and for highlighting how an employer can do it right.

I have a laproscopic surgery to rule out endo dec 14th & I just found out recently that I’m 100% cancer free (no more thyroid cancer) so just focusing on the good news and trying to be patient with myself so I can heal and move forward. 💫💕

Sending my love & best wishes 💛 I feel you’re pain & struggles. I have been through a very similar gastrointestinal journey as well, it’s extremely difficult. I am glad you have shared such a personal experience for others to relate too. Oah the medical fees - definitely feel you there! People really do not understand the strain serious health complications cause on every aspect of you’re life, you’re mental, psychological and physical state. Having close supportive individuals is so important. Stay positive! 🌈

I'm so sorry you've been through this! 💛 I have too :( Would you recommend telling a potential new employer about your Endometriosis? I've just had a surgery but it didn't go to plan, I'll be looking to have surgery next year some time but I need a job in the meantime :( not sure what to say to potential employers at interviews.
