So, Mexican here. The reason the snacks/drinks have those black diamonds saying excesso (excess not extra), is part of a new reform in Mexico to bring more awareness to the stuff that you intake. By law they have to do this because there's little restrictions on how they advertise and mostly prey on children, making an alarming epidemic of diabetics and obesity.
