Yes that is true. But that’s the thing I love about music. The writer can say what the song is about but still people will interpret it differently and apply their own meanings to it. To me, I think about my mother when I hear this song. My dad died when I was 12 and she’s all I have ever had. To her I am her “miracle child” because there have been so many times where I should have died and I am still here and she sees me, he youngest, as her strength and calls me when she needs help with anything but secretly… she’s my rock and my strength.

I didn't really think anyone could capture the quiet, yet soaring majesty of this classic Whitney, but by gosh, you hit a home run.

I sang this song at my Christmas church service and dedicated it to my parents for everything they do for me. I kept it a secret the entire time and they had no idea I was doing it for them. It was an unreal experience and I got tons of compliments for it. It made my mom start crying (that ugly type of cry haha) and I myself almost started crying when I was done. Just love this song, was a blast to learn to play!! Thanks for the awesome cover!!!
