I too only heard of Beegie this year. I love her style. I too am a late comer to piano lessons, I started them at 70 years of age, 2 years ago. I am really enjoying learning to play

One of the best pianist i eaver heard and i am 84 and beleive me , i saw the most best pianist in my time, O. Jones, O.Peterson, Errol gardner etc. But in the last few years, i discover Beegie Adair, i will try to listen your beautiful tunes that remenber the wonderful music, Jazz spécialy. I tried to play like this. I wish-never got it. What a genius! Just the style I love. She is new to me 5/1 and i wonder why I never heard of her before. My other piano idol is Michael Feinstein. I started 50 years too late.

La compositora Ruth Lowe, canadense, compuso esta canción a la muerte de su esposo, con quien llevaba muy poco tiempo de casada. Es un verdadero lamento del alma, excelentemente interpretada por Beegie.
