I'll Never Find Another You (ukulele cover)

Музыка

Just wanted to take a moment to thank my subscribers and everyone who has watched my videos, especially those who leave positive comments. I can't say enough how much I appreciate it. You make me want to keep going.
I had the pleasure of working on a collaboration with Siany on this song some years ago. Before we started work on it, I wanted to make sure I could handle the harmony part and instrumental, so I made this practice recording. I forgot I made it until I recently found it. It's one of my all-time favorite songs, so I hope you like this rendition.
Take care and stay safe!

Your duet with Siany is also one of my favorite videos that you have created and shared with us. My brother canʻt forget it either, and whenever I mention you (still havenʻt had a chance to record a song together), he talks about that song with Siany. This practice song is also wonderful. Sianyʻs voice, her new ʻukulele skills, and the cute video tricks just made the collaboration something really special.

Mahalo, Jody! I hope to get together with your brother someday and collaborate on a song. I'm wondering when I can visit Hawaii again! Anyway, the duet with Siany has been one of my proudest moments on KZread. When she sent me her video for editing, it was so good that I was afraid to add anything to it! I'm glad it turned out fine.

@@AnBerfelo I strum by feeling and use both thumb and forefinger alternately for strumming, so it's hard to explain, but I think a basic d d-u-d-u-d-u would work nicely.

Nice version but there's a wrong chord described in the text. In the middle 8 the last three chords are C/F/G not C/D7/G. You played it right though! I used your notation to follow it on bass, thanks.

Thanks, Andy! Yes, I think F would work better there and it does sound like I played F in the video. To my ear, D7 doesn't sound too terrible in that spot, but I'd change it if I could. In the past, we could paste annotations on the video so I would have been able to cover the D7 with an F, but they discontinued that function.
