I don't get Afife. She claims to love Orhun, yet all she does is upset him. Does she want to have a bad relationship with her only son? Does she likes constantly fighting with him and forcing him to say things to her that he otherwise wouldn't say? Does she want to force him to abandon her someday because I think it's very clear that he is more prepared to live the rest of his life without his mother than he is Hira. I just don't get what she thinks she's getting out of this. Yes, temporarily she hurts Hira, but ultimately she hurts Orhun and only pushes him closer to Hira when he feels guilty over the mistreatment she silently suffers for his sake.
