You can disable gestures in the menu I think it’s under controls and is called “disable quick chat” making it where the wheel will not pop up when you click the stick

i Feel for you on this but thumbs up for the consistent play.. Id had went back to pc long ago lol.. Use to be an Xbox fan but switched to pc many years back.. Love it for every reason.

I have 2000+ hours in console Rust and I never knew you could look around while running. I thought it was exclusive to PC. I just looked up a video of how to enable that setting. I'm dumbfounded.

He seems like a genuine dude- and what I mean by that, not to get parasocial- is that he doesn't seem to put on an act for his content. No "oh my GOD" Click bait, or over the top mannerisms. It's just a generally chill time when he uploads.

that ending was PAINFUL. rust lesson number 1: when raiding always put door and lock in ur hot bar at the same time since it takes too long to scroll through the inventory. 😂

There is good settings. I recommend you copy a console rust content creator’s settings, but for pvp I definitely recommend you lower your deadzone to around 4-5 for both sticks. PvP gets alot better with good settings. Good Luck Jordan👍🏼

I started with rust console played beta but when it came live I switched to pc, now I have 8k hours on pc and about 3k on console, for those who haven't played console, it is brutal hard to aim and movement, so for him to take this challenge with 1 day experience I tip my hat to you.

For the full console experience try playing on a weekend in the school holidays.

I Jordan u can buy mouse and keyboard adapters like Xim matrix u just add for example x to space and it works.

17:19 try Digital boost input, in settings. I set mine to 210% i think. You turn much faster with that.

OMgoodness this looks exactly how I looked when I made the switch to PC last year. It’s soooo painful!!!! You should have used keyboard nd mouse on the PS. I think it’s possible I’ve seen people use em on console. Not sure if it was ps or Xbox but I imagine both can.

i'd turn your deadzone all the way down as low as you can if you dont mind stick drift, you'll get stick drift but aim will feel more responsive, if you dont like the stick drift id turn it up slowly from 0% until there is none anymore, also make sure you're using digital boost and turn off aim recentre.

you can turn off the emotes in the setting jordan so you don’t keep pressing it on accident!

Rn we got an update where we got the new shotgun nw and mili tunnel man couldnt u wait for that update 🤣

For 9 am 50+ pop is a bit much 😂 try going on lower pop server like 20/30 because there still full pop at night it be a bit easier 😂

Change your controller settings to boosted digital controls and put sensitivity to 32% 42% and everything else u just get a feel for brother ur doing good mate

Try playing with the deadzone in your controls, may help

Feel like jordan was paid to do this. It inspires me to make console videos im damn good at it

Tip for aiming on console rust have dead zone at 5 an ads and 1x holo sens very low there's no aim assist and the settings feel rough I run 25 ads and find it easier to hit shots then on a higher sens

You can disable the gesture menu on settings.

u have to disable quick chat in settings put your sense up a bit strafe and try and focus your ads on the player

If you want better aim adjust your deadzone for left and right stick every controller has its sweet spot, AND change up your aiming sensitivity it’s usually better to make it a bit slow while your look sensitivity is higher.

Tip 1: do not stand still when fighting. Tip 2: test with different settings to develop a better fighting strategy.

I was so excited for the console then I played it once and just couldn't it just feels slow with the movements had to go back to the PC

I can only play on ps5 😢 which is unfortunate because it's headache inducing with it's crazy jaggies and terrible lag and motion blur. Combat becomes a chore with micro stutters too. Needs an overhaul. Is pc as jaggie and laggy? Guessing no?

You can turn up your sensitivity so it doesn't feel so slow
