I've never played Rust, have no desire to ever play Rust, nor have I ever really watched any Rust content before. Yet I've fallen down the rabbit of Willjum's vids and even though I barely understand what's going on half the time, they're such good videos; I can't stop watching!

TBH, I would have either painted the lower sections grey or (optionally) left them as stone so that they just appeared to be a part of the existing stone rise. If there is a green rug in a slightly lighter shade of green that can be put on the outside of a roofing section, it would be perfect to further break up the lines of your base and hide the upper sections against the trees.

@Willjum been watching for over a year with no internet at my new home. I just finished my first solo weekly wipe (I’m on console) and used your solo base. I survived with no raids, got all the way down the tier 2 tech tree and I just wanna say thanks for the awesome videos and basically teaching me the how to and actually enjoy playing rust!

I know you'll probably never see this, but your videos really help me to just unwind and zone out from my (horrible) life. You have so much joy making this it's infectious. These videos really help me mentally. Don't stop making amazing content ❤

Hey man little late but I was there too, maybe not in your exact situation but these videos did help me when i was down but what really helped me was finding someone to talk to it could even be a complete stranger. For me it was actually a cop. I just walked into a station and said i'm going through some stuff and needed someone to talk too, sure i might have felt dumb confiding into a Stranger but it really did make me feel better. moral of the story is it's practically impossible to face your burdens alone and you should definitely find some to talk too, good luck (assuming your not already feeling better).

We ever getting part 4 of the 100 hours with 4 Solos series? Been waiting to see that final fight for AGES!

Happy anniversary of your birthday willjum, hope ya had a g one. Love the vids as always but can we make a bit of a challenge for you ? The rules of this challenge would be fairly simple. You build the cosiest base you can but at no point can you say the word “cosy” all wipe, if you do you must clear tc and leave your base immediately with all doors open (I’d accept you leaving with a kit and tools) and rebuild somewhere else.

Recently fallen down the rabbit hole of your content and I've also fallen in love. Just something really captivating about your videos, you're amazing. I've never played Rust before but honestly I want to give it a try now. Envisioning it now, I've got a friend circle of 4-6 people I could try and drag into this... the one friend could start a private server since he hosts 7days and Forest for us. Practice in the PVE, learn the meta, start joining some PVP servers on wipe day and make some fun stories.

Try putting the dark green camo shipping container with the camo rugs 50:29 I think it’d be insane, especially deeper in a bigger forest with the same kind of rock base idea. I think it’d be worth a go! Hope you see this man. Love your content. Keep it up man!!

I want you to know I started playing rust today, all because of you. I never would have even bothered to play except I came across your videos. Got my 1x2 already built, furnace, tier 1, sheet metal inner, 1 layer of stone honeycomb and if they come through the door, they have to get through 3 sheet metal doors.
