I left this factory abandoned in The Sims 4 Werewolves

I was able to build all 4 lots included with The Sims 4 Werewolves, today's one was so much fun! Leaving steel frame exposed and letting nature take over this once thriving factory was a fun challenge!

Honestly, this pack wouldn't be this great if James didn't build the lots. I know they often get multiple simmers to build the lots, but it makes sense to just have one person build everything so the world looks cohesive (at least for the community lots). James' attention to detail is amazing! Love the addition of the sewers which supposedly "connects" to the bar. The sims team wouldn't have bothered with that if they did this lot on their own. Kudos & thank you to James! This is the first time that I've actually enjoyed playing without having to renovate or change the premade community lots.

I love the contrast between 2022 sims team and the sims team from even a year ago. With James, they're like- "move the terrain down 1mm", "get rid of this tiny air vent", "add a singular window, this doesn't make sense, we worry about our players." With literally EVERY OTHER PACK the vibe is, "no toilet- no problem!", "stairs leading to nothing- sounds exciting", "reuse the exact same base game house? yes please!" "a non-functional kitchen? sign me up!" It's hilarious to me, but I'm living for the evolution.

I know why they chose James for this pack. His love and attention to the "rags to riches vibe" and having builds look run down and used really led to amazing builds. He appreciates the less prestine aspects of builds and sims and it proved so integral here! Awesome job!
Something I noticed while playing is that I spent more time than usual just looking around, seeing how things looked with the walls up all the way, etc. I usually don’t bother, but James puts so much attention into his builds that it’s actually worth taking the time to check out every angle. @Cilibi They might not have been able to fix it before the deadline, but having it removed most likely means they will never fix the problem, which would not be optimal in the future as having this feature could have made for a lot of interesting builds, besides think of what could have been done for newer packs with this added feature, which will not happen since they will not work to fix the problem. I really do not like it when people are giving the game companies permission to not fix problems in their games, yes fixing the problem might take a while, but not fixing it is a lot worse than having to wait a little longer for it.

@@Skullost I’m just saying it’s a lot to expect of the devs. They really don’t have a say on deadline and most likely have to move on to the next project immediately after finishing one. I’m not saying it wouldn’t be nice to fix this kind of thing, but with how terribly managed the industry is it’s kinda unfair to expect the devs to fix a problem they didn’t anticipate without time, money, and support from the higher ups. I guess I just think blaming the devs is pointless and pointing fingers at the wrong people. The devs are working hard.

@@Cilibi Sometimes the devs are to be blamed, sometimes not, I hope Maxis takes the time to fix some of the problems present in the game. 8 months late to the party but I just found out that you built the lots in the Werewolf pack and I wanted to let you know I ABSOLUTELY love them. This particular one might me my favorite in the whole game.
I really like how the library is such an amalgam of things that the community would want and put together, like the plants on the inside and the easel and the different chairs and fitness equipment. Because there's usually so few non-residential lots in occult packs it really makes sense that, andespecially in a werewolf community plus one that lost that logging business, the community as a whole would come together, it's very nicely done!
You've done such a great job with this lot, James. Your creativity is insane!
I just finished watching videos of the other lots you built in time for this one! Cheers! Edit: Absolutely thinking of getting Werewolves just for that beautiful metal bookshelf. Brings me back to when I used to work at my uni's library.
I can't imagine how stoked you where doing all these builds! And i'm loving every single one of them. I myself love to add accentuating items like the yellow you added in this build, and you didn't overdo it either. I liked how you kept the theme of abandoned factory in your head and didn't make it perfect, for example making the restroom the size that it is. When i first saw this lot in my game I was like, why the hell is this restroom so big? But then i saw your video and it all made sense! So bravo James! Well done :D
The pond room was my absolute favorite part!! What a creative idea.
This is probably the best and most creative pre made lot we got so far. Like other Simmers made builds in previous packs were fine but James really outdid himself. Love how he puts so much story into those build.

This is such perfect timing, I literally just finished watching yesterday's video!
These build videos have been so fascinating to watch and I am so glad we got this sneak peak into the process. As everyone has said the builds are all top notch and I love hearing the care and detail you put into them (like ensuring no floating lights or a clean view looking up).
This is my favorite lot in the pack. I was focused on gameplay when I got the pack, so I didn't really look at the lots at first, just a quick glimpse, so every time I came back to this one, I'd notice something new like the big telescope or the empty room. I love the idea of a library being the big community hangout place. So far, my only changes to it have been to add a robotics table to the former pond room and I plan to add a woodworking table to it, too.
I really love that EA is not only choosing creators to build lots in packs but also now getting to see the process behind them. I’ve really enjoyed seeing all the attention to detail. Makes me appreciate the lots more while playing.
I actually really enjoy watching this process! We've always known there are restrictions and rules to the basic Sims lots, but to actually watch the lot progress through the review steps and having James explain it all is just wonderful! I hope that they do this with more packs in the future - I don't think they can get James to build ALL of them, but having one Simmer help out on a pack goes an amazingly long way in bridging the gap between the Gurus and the Fanbase. Thank you for recording ALL of this and taking the time to bring us along James!! I learned so much.
Ohhhh I was so excited for this! Love you and Deli so much! Hope that we can see your amazing builds in future packs, too.
The builds are so good James! I love watching my werewolf run past them as they rage.
I was waiting for his video today! so obsessed with his builds!
Your lots are amazing! The way you used the terrain too made everything feel so.. Organic. It's the best lots in a pack without a doubt
James' glee is contagious! Watching this process is giving me good vibes toward the franchise. I thought I wasn't into werewolves, but the delight from my favorite content creators is rubbing off on me. Must have this world and its aesthetics. Thank you so much, James, for making these videos!
The houses are awesome, but the bar lot and this lot are definitely my favourite!! It's always great to see James' passion come out in his builds!
James, I have to say after watching all of these and your builds getting pretty much accepted by the Sims team in the first try: I looove how your brain works! Such fun ideas! And in a style not all people (me included lol) can pull off! Props to you! It makes me actually want to have this gamepack!
Thanks for sharing your process with us. I truly love this build because it’s multi functional and it gives the player room to make it their own if they choose. James you did a great job on all the builds really inspiring.
This is my favorite lot you made in the new world (closely followed by the bar & underground hangout), so this is so neat to watch how it all came together! Thanks for sharing these behind the scenes building videos!
I am so impressed with these builds James, really. The community lots are some of the best i have seen in a Sims 4 pack. I am so glad that the sims team went to some of the best builders to create beautiful world for us!
Its really cool getting to play in lots you made, its easy to see how much love went into making the lots. The spaces really help to elevate the characters in them.

Your creativity and your eye for detail always make your builds incredible. This is such a unique build and I'm so happy everyone getting this pack will be able to play in it and appreciate the work you have done
Been waiting for this one! Absolutely my favourite lot, you did SUCH a great job!
James was the perfect one to design the lots for this world. He did an amazing job on each and every one. Really excited for him. :D
I've liked all the builds, but I think this one is my favorite lot. I really liked the format of the build videos with going through the review process at each stage and showing the incremental changes done. I'm looking forward to more of the LP in this world.
I am loving seeing these build videos, I’ve missed seeing your creativity flourish with just building and having fun! I’d love to see them more often! They inspire me in my own builds.
It's super fascinating to see how it all came together, from now on EA should only ever hire creators for their world builds because clearly, their own builders suck :D I already asked this before but could you give us a rough timeline for long this actually took? It would be interesting to know when EA startes with the world build and how long before the pack comes out it is actually finished. I know nothing about game design but I would guess you probably started like last fall/winter?
