Best thing about London is not even London itself but how very close it is to other major European cities its the perfect base for traveler's ( Big city , English speaking , Close flights to Amsterdam , Paris , Rome , Barcelona , Edinburgh etc..)

i was so proud of you when you stayed in when you were feeling sick, instead of forcing yourself to go out there and "enjoy" London cause you were there. Definitely sending a good message to all the young women watching your videos to prioritize themselves and their health and their feelings and their body sending them messages, no matter what! I'm going on my first solo international trip soon, to Japan! And now I feel less anxious, cause I know if I get sick abroad, I know how to handle it, and that it's okay to not force yourself to go out and enjoy 24/7, if you're not feeling it. My first solo trip was to Barcelona when I was 18, so glad I did that and went out of my comfort zone, even been to the Middle East by myself now. Travelling solo is one of lifes must do's, and glad to see you enjoyed it.

i'm going on my first solo trip to europe, and it's also my first time flying internationally and all alone. i'm excited but super nervous and this made me feel less alone in those feelings. it's also great to see you enjoying the alone time! my mantra has been 'i am smart and capable of doing this' so to hear you also say that is very empowering

GREAT choice! I literally just did London as my very 1st solo international trip this past March and it was the best! I did 10 days and all of it in London (short side trip to Harry Potter studio tour). It was perfect. So happy you got to go and you can always go back again.

Okay. I watched this, plus part 2 back to back last night and was glued to the screen and I'm pretty sure smiling the whole entire time. What a beautiful, genuine, down-to-earth vlog. Your love of London is similar to mine so it was just so warming to watch this. I too live in NYC but I lived in London for two years and am visiting at the end of this month, so your video is basically my whole mood right now!!!! I love it there and would love to live there, or at least near there, again one day. Love your appreciation of your friend as well. That was so sweet to watch! It can be hard to find genuine travel vlogs where I really feel connected to the person and the video, and this did it for me! London is on my bucket list (again). I went back in 2018 and it was a great trip (that also included a tour of parts of Ireland, too!). I'm currently trying to save up the money to take my mom this time--she kicked breast cancer's butt, is now in remission, and she's always wanted to go; considering the type of cancer she had has a 30% chance of coming back in the next five years, she wants to go out and do things she's never done before, just in case, but London's not on the list because she's worried about the expense. So I figure if I can get enough books sold (I'm a writer) and get some of that moving, I'm going to set that money aside and hopefully get enough together to treat her/surprise her with it. :D I'm about to tuck into the video--I hope you had a fantastic time, Hannah! It's always fun watching your videos. :)

@@juliaparks6836 Yeah, my mom's had it pretty rough these past several years--my dad passed suddenly, then her mom, then she got diagnosed with BC, then her younger brother passed very suddenly--and I just want to do something for her so that she can have some fun and do something she's always wanted to do but has never really been able or willing to pay to do. :) I thought about doing a GFM, but it feels a little weird to do one for something like this, so instead I've been selling my books and hoarding the royalties; hopefully I'll be able to get the rest of the money I need together by May or so so I can spring it on her! lol
