I want to visit my friend from Philippines, he visited Slovakia a couple of years ago. Now, I try to save some money to be able to fly and spend some time there 🥰 my question is, have you ever climbed Mt. Apo? It's a very huge dream of mine! Have a wonderful weekend.

I just want to tell you... I am a teacher I teach little children english language. We once watched one of your videos with the students. The idea was that I show them someone from abroad learning slovak language. You see? English speaking people learn languages too and yes, our language too and look how fun it can be. They liked it sooo much. Now they are always asking me: When do we watch another video with the lady who likes fidorkas?" :D ..You don´t even know what a great source of inspiration you are.

me, slovak, reading this comment, and not understanding about what you talking😆. But in the politics, where you look, there is "money theif". Almost every day, is in news in TV, that again was someone got arrest. Our country is beautiful, but we are so poor :( But as the country, Slovakia is beautifull.

So beautiful, so cute, such interesting story and message. Thank you! Love to have you here, you have no idea how Slovakia needs this, and you are one of the pioneers to let the world and paradoxically the Slovakian people know how proud should they be, to change the perspective for themselves, that for lot of parts of the globe, their country could be exotic and beautiful, too! Thank you.

Hello Kimberley - and many thanks for your another lovely video! Well, there is no question that Philippines is a country of a great natural beauty and nice people - that attracts tourists. Anyway, you might tell us more about things "below the surface" in Philippines, which are so important for daily life and invisible for a superficial tourist: For example, about health care, safety, education, public transportation, environmental matters, unemployment rate, conditions for maternity leave and family life, etc. After all my extensive travelling and work in many countries, I'm convinced that Central Europe has some special advantages for the daily good-quality life, including a nice life-to-work balance. Beautiful and growing Slovakia is no exception. Even such an elementary thing - like safe drinking tap water practically everywhere - is by far not common in many parts of the world. And travelling is so easy from here (well, after the world emerge from this gloomy global pandemic times...). Best wishes from the brotherly Czech Republic!

Every country in the world is beautiful!! Slovakia is that hidden gem buried in the mountains of Central Europe waiting for people to discover. Philippines is great too! I wouldn’t say which country is better or more beautiful, because each country is different and we don’t compare them on an absolute scale. But no matter how different the beauty is, it’s always a great experience to go to another place and discover a different beauty. In short, the world is a beautiful place!

Now i understand how brave you are. Leaving home and going to another country not even in same continent. Btw, Philippines look wonderful. I loved sea after my first visit, but i was in croatia and they dont have sand beach. I really want visit some sand beach :-D

If you're interested in Slovak history, traditional clothes and what it was like to live in Slovakia centuries ago, I would recommend Slovak National Museum in Martin and... idk the name for it... Skrátka skanzen Martine, aj múzeum aj skanzen sú najväčšie na Slovensku, iba odporúčam :))

Friends influenced me. And it just came naturally as I go so often to the sea and swim. I never took a proper classes, I thought I will when I was still in the Philippines but then, I moved to Slovakia already 😂

Kimberly, I admire you for moving so far from your home. And if you wanna swim in cold water you should start "otužovať" (hard off) :) There are many hardenning groups in Slovakia.

I tried swimming in cold water, but it was impossible for me, my thin body is shaking after just couple of minutes 🤣

Been watching your videos recently and I noticed something......... Free-diver ka pala Mrs Kimberly! Hahaha! Thats a very courageous sport. Anyways, I will be moving to Bratislava next spring year for working purposes. Is the home internet connection speed there acceptable for daily Zoom meetings? Thanks and baia con dios..

There are a lot of options when it comes to Internet connections. We used to have UPS and now O2, for both, I didnt have a serious problem so far 😉

haha definetely the little mermaid 😂😂 but for now I have my feet in Slovakia, my fins, I left in the Philippines 😂😂

ja som po otcovej strany talian, narodený a žijúci vo francúzsku, mama bola slovenska, . mal som to jednoduchšie so slovenským jazkom, mama nás učila slovensky keď sme boli deti. Učila nás aj gramatiku, preto nemám problém so slovenským jazykom . Dnes ovládam 8 jazykov :) .. Filippini sô krásne, nikdy som tam nebol iba videl videá . Ale rád sa tam pozriem . Držím ti palce vo všetkom .. teda Vám obom

I know most of the Slovaks doesn't care much about Philippines , but I really like Philippines and I would love to visit ❤️❤️❤️ . Thank you for your videos !

Good luck with studying Slovak language, I know it´s so hard for foreigners... my husband lives in Slovakia almost 3 years and doesn´t speak Slovak :)

And I love Balut, even when Europeans and Americans cannot eat it! Your both countries are beautiful! I would love to visit Philippines again. I’ve been to Manila, Cebu, and some other town with a ship called Doulos. It was a floating book fair. Good memories!

I've visited Philippines once and for a few days only. I hiked the Taal Volcano and been to Mindoro island at White Beach. Road from Manila to Taal Volcano took me 9 hours and I traveled by van, boat, bus, tricycle and jeepney 🙂 I tried snorkeling at White Beach but I might be the only person who can't breathe with snorkel so it must have been very funny for my guide to watch me screaming into snorkel 😄

Roads in the Philippines are not the best, that's why it's still sucks to travel by land there. But anyways, the destination is always rewarding so I stopped complaining haha :D Sounds like you had quiet an adventure in the Philippines! :)

Bohol and Cebu Islands were on schedule for last summer. And they still are on schedule at least since my girlfriend is from there. :)

Hey Kimberly, I hope my comment isn't too late and that you will read it (or maybe other Slovak people) because i have some questions about Slovakia that are important to me. I am planning to move there after my education ends (it will take 3 more years). Was it easy for you to move there? Like the bureaucracy, getting the Slovak identity card and so on. Where do you life? You don't have to tell me the exact location or something like that, but i would like to know if you life in east or west Slovakia. What is working in Slovakia like? I don't know if you have another job than youtube, but if so, please tell me what it is like? Are Slovaks more conservative or liberal? I wanted to visit Slovakia to talk to the people and to see what they think about the country, but i don't have a lot of time because of studying and the current situation with Corona isn't making anything easier for me. What is the weather in Slovakia like? Is it raining a lot or is the sun shining more often? Is it snowing in the winter? (because i really love snow). And is Slovakia a quiet place? I mean the big cities obviously won't be but the countryside maybe? That are my questions, i hope that isn't to much to ask for. I would appreciate it, if you (or anyone) could answer these.

🇵🇭 are great. One of my best holiday. We managed to see about 25 islands and gosh I would go back. Philipino food was interesting, but we visited very unknown islands, where food was a bit issue from very first moment on (we couldn't find any shops).
