When we first hosted Nancy Khamuye Kolomani last year, she was only a few months away from delivering her baby. And being an HIV positive mom, she has been very careful to ensure she doesn't infect her child even when she breast-feeds her. Nancy speaks about how she's used her experiences to help others out there live positively and reduce HIV stigma in the society.

See all those street children (young) loitering in the streets of Nairobi are 99 percent kikuyus who do not even know their roots.....most of them are young mothers 14 to 18 yrs with kids... Not even married... Atleast this one got married

I believe her story ,however the first story and this one has a few discrepancies...the first kid she got after primary school, not adopted as per her how she narrated her story the first time.....But am so happy for her..

@@catherinegitau6530 Yes ,it's disturbing..that first story she naratted her story so well ...she was so young the guy also disappered, but then she didn't mention she had given birth to her current husband .....she is not so comfortable telling her past, I guess society judge people so harshly yet most people have very dry skeletons in their cupboards. ... She was underage.. both were ..I hope am not mistaken. She knows better though, maybe am wrong

Sometimes Hospital s ignore counseling or do very minimal counseling
Nancy even if someone is undetectable they still test positive only that the viral load is very slim. Carriers test positive but even without taking ARs are never sick.

No. Medication damages kidneys in the long run. It's better to use cds and not have many partners. Getting tested na partner too

Thanks @@avivkinyanjui437 ,,,, but some guys they choose the specific hossy they want the test to be done after they have bribe the medic kitu kidogo and he/she will give the result as -ve yet he knows very well that its +ve,,,, this makes me spirituality heartbroken,,,, mentally ill and physically trying to add one plus one is 2 but I do get the answer as 22 but life must go on thanks for the advice.
