The fact the kids got to experience it a little bit too when you probably just thought you’d only have videos to show them what it was like is amazing! Maybe they didnt get to go high up with you, but they got a firsthand taste which is so much better than a video could do! So cool! I remember when I was a kid a hot air balloon came REALLY close to my childhood home, right by my bedroom window & that was so exciting! I’m afraid of heights myself, but the idea of going in a balloon someday is also intriguing! It looks like you guys had so much fun & a wonderfully unique memory for your family in the future!

This was great. Something you will never forget. When I was little, we used to have hot air ballons go over the house, and we would talk to the people on the hot air balloons. Sometimes they would land near the house or field, and we would help them fold up the balloon. Something I will always remember. I think this is why I love hot air balloons.

Talk about adrenaline rush for you both! I have been wanting to go up one since I was little girl. My husband surprised us/me with a local hot air balloon festival a week before our marriage 7 years ago and it was so lovely and magical!
