I found this treasure in an old Johnny Cash songbook. I love the words and melody that were written in 1950 by I.F. Stanphill. The song talks about the uncertainty of this life, but their is One in whom we can be certain of...and He is with us...and walks beside us through it all.

I am 55 years old, and today, the 1st day of October, it was the 1st time I have EVER heard this song. Where has this been all my life? Powerful and comforting! I must memorize this song. I don't know about tomorrow…..I just live from day to day…. I don't borrow from its sunshine….For its skies may turn to gray…. I don't worry o'er the future…..For I know what Jesus said…. and today I'll walk beside Him….For He knows what is ahead….. Many things about tomorrow….I don't seem to understand….
