@@amandagrace971 danglar was one of the 3 people who framed Edmond. If i remember correctly he becomes wealthy and owns a high ranking bank. I won't spoil any more. But this song makes it seem like Danglar took mercedes even though it was Mondego.

I'm beyond thrilled to have found your production and cannot wait to listen to the entire soundtrack. But I am surprised, why is the lyrics suggesting Danglars stole Mercedes from Dantes? That's not authentic to the plot. Is this a creative take?

@@dear_totheheart from listening to the whole soundtrack, it would seem so. They appear to have rolled parts from Danglar and Fernand together, while raising Caderouse up a tad.

@@Urzaknight Good to know! I just found it odd when I've seen their other comments mentioning attempting to be as authentic to the book as possible so thought it strange for them to change such a vital character arrangement

@@sorrel272 Aww, thanks! ❤❤ I used to use FireAlpaca, but it started acting weird with my tablet so now I use Krita. They're both free, and both of them have an animation feature, but I just use that to draw the frames, then I use VideoPad to edit them together. VideoPad is a little on the pricey side, but I was able to get it when it was on sale, and all the free editing programs I've found haven't been very good. Hope that helps :')

This is just- Amazing I love the voice and the instrumental just- I'm sorry I'll have to say it, but Fernand was the one who married Mercedes and Danglars was his partner on the ship, they are two different people that worked together to bring Edmund down, BUT STILL I LOVE THIS PLZ FORGIVE ME

Question! After danglar says dantes name at 3:40-4:11 this epic instrumental happens and I can only asume something equally epic happens so since I cant see a stage version of this may I ask what happens during that time

Well, in the original book, where it's Fernand instead of Danglars, he runs home and, *ahem*.. offs himself. But in this version, I believe Edmond kills him in the duel? I'm unsure, but that's the vibe I got from the song.

I think it took me listening to this musical almost in its entirity, just to realise, during this song, that they yeeted Fernand out of the plot and replaced him with Danglars LOL
