It’s hard because you really have been traumatized. Unfortunately, this horrible "tough guy" mentality is still real. That's why rappers live in constant fear for their lives and innocent lives become "collateral damage". I always think of how disappointed and ashamed our glorious icons and civil rights activists, such as Rosa Parks, MLK, Malcolm X, Lewis and the ones before them, would have been of us because we are not fighting to advance anything but killing ourselves over nonsense.
