Hey Pete, I think I have an idea for a conversion. With Kill Team getting new 40k Beastmen models, could those hooved legs be used to update Lucius the Eternal from the Emperor's Children Chaos legion? He is described as having hooved feet under his fleshy power armor. Yet, with the scaling problem of updating such an older model would be more difficult than normal, I understand if you don't want to do it. I just thought it'd be an interesting challenge/idea since World Eaters got a glow-up recently.

I absolutely love the idea of this thing roaming around the underbelly of a hive city that is slowly being corrupted by chaos

I think you should continue your dornian heresy series with sanguinius as a daemon primarch of nurgle. Maybe by using mortarion as a base?

I think the more obvious choice is Khorne considering how much effort Erebus went to to try and make it happen. Though, I do like the idea of flipping the roles, and the idea of Sanguinius’s wings rotted and turned to nurgle is incredibly appealing

@@olly123451 Nurgle Blood Angels are a thing from the original Dornian Heresy story, which was the origins of the loyalist Curze and Khornate Russ models he made. Khorne may be the most obvious choice, but Nurgle was chosen to emphasize the more sickly nature of vampires, with the story being that Sanguinius was adopted by the mutant cannibals of Baal instead of the human settlers. Personally, I found the Slaaneshi Blood Angels from the Roboutian Heresy to be an interesting and unique take on traitor Blood Angels.

@@stephanie9201 agreed. I like 40k theories Theoreticus Heresy, an alt take on the Dornian Heresy. Dornes the war master and the chosen of chaos but Guilliman kicks of the heresy by discovering a chaos artifact known as the black oculus. In the end Khorne gets Russ, Nurgle gets Ferrus Manus, Slaanesh gets Sanguinius, and Tzeentch gets the Khan. Russ is transformed mid battle on Prospero. Ferrus is trapped and tortured by Nurgle himself, Sanguinius gets corrupted by some Slaaneshy xenos jewelry, and the Khan is tricked by Tzeentch.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the second time we've seen Pete make something purely from terrain, and it never gets old

The amount of movement and presence you got out of a pile of pipes is incredible, well done. Even with limited options, the event sounds like tons of fun. And i just love the idea of an absurd pile of GW plastic to go wild with. Ive gotta say i do love the Votann kitbash too

Great video! A challenge idea I have is you could choose some kits at random and them only use those for a conversion so that you don't know which kits you'll be able to use. The results can be pretty wild

Reminds me of the descriptions of the various Daemons the Blood Angels fought at Signus Prime at the start of the Horus Heresy. They were described as being made up from various rubble and building parts.

Very impressive build, especially considering the limitations. It has a very chilling appearance, very suitable for the setting. I kinda wish you'd added a bit of that green light emanating from the mouth, as it gets a little lost in the shadows, at least in that final showcase-it might be better in normal room lighting. I hope to see more corrupted Mechanicus kitbashes in the future, I bet there's a ton that can be done with that idea.

Good to see Pete take on the final boss of kitbash challenges!

You did an amazing job with it, the critiques I have for it are: I wouldn't have gone for green lighting, or at least not that green; combined with the head of the monster and it gives a necron vibe. I loved the color scheme, but given the oranges and reds, the rust and wear got swallowed by the scheme; I think leaving it as exposed metal might have done better to contrast. The symbols were great, adding them across more surface area would have been a big plus. Some more asymmetry, like making one plasma core slightly protruding and the other fully extended as you did. These last two critiques are conditional; if you were intent on not modifying the base project, ignore them because they don't matter: I felt the destroyed end of the conduit was distracting, like it wasn't finished. If you added some resin, hot glue, or superglue drips and plugged the pipe, then painted it the same glow as the OSL, it would have given more life and atmosphere to the piece, that it is damaged or unstable and you can see its corruption leaking into the environment. My final critique that can potentially be discounted is that there wasn't enough decoration for lack of a better word: no weapons, gubbins, things to catch the eye. The inscriptions and glyphs definitely could have helped, but it felt like I was looking at a mech in a video game before I add weapons, decals, or armor. Please keep doing what you do! I always look forward to your videos and being spitting jealous at what you are able to make and portray.

I have so many of them pipes just cause they came with so many box sets. So I imagine games workshop got a lot of them. The glow effect is very good as well!

How about kitbashing a krork? Would love to see an ork with power armor like that, even if it was not on scale with regular 40K models.

I think I just spent at least an hour, maybe 2.. playing around with Eldritch Foundry.. wow, what an awesome tool to use, I know there is another one out there, can't think of it off the top of my head, but you can literally tweak the entire mini to make it what you want. The ultimate kitbash for 3D printing!

Hi! A huge fan of your kitbashing videos and really like your style. After new tyranids were shown, I understood that I want to make myself a small army of them. However, this will be my second army and I am ready to spend more money and time on this one. I want to give my tyranids look of sea creatures. Like, remove all legs, make fins, add some fish/snake/eel-like tails, maybe shrimp-like bodies, add different sea bottom terrain. Initially I wanted to use Idoneth bits to achieve such results, but looking through their models I don't see enough parts for what I desire. For example, I don't see how to make gaunts models in the described style. Maybe you have any ideas, where I can get some parts, that will fit into this idea? I am pretty much ok with using greenstuff and in my local tournaments it's okay to use not only GW plastic models, so using 3d printer is also ok. P.S.: If by any means you find this idea interesting for your videos, I would be really proud if you use it.
