If my parents reacted like this I would've been so purely overjoyed.. it would have been the BEST day of my life.. except it was the worse, I didn't even fully come out, I just asked, and they said they'd kick me out of the house and disown me if I came out.. I'm bi, genderfluid, Demi-ace, and demi-ro. I've only come out as demi-ace and demi-ro so far... But not bi or genderfluid yet.... I wish so badly I could express myself... It's such a burden especially since my parents sometimes look me in the eyes and say "Go change that sh*t, I'm not taking you anywhere like that, you're in a wheelchair already you don't need anymore people staring." whenever I wear a suit.. there was a day I dressed really masculine for the school pictures, and I was SO EXCITED, I felt SO confident, more confident than I've ever been in my life.. and my parents got pissed off and immediately wanted to change, they kept saying "AT LEAST put this skirt on so you look ladylike with the blazer, OR at LEAST put on a scarf!! You need to look like a lady!" It absolutely crushed my heart.. and I ended up going to school so upset, but my lover looked at me and said I looked amazing.. and that made my confidence go right back up. I've come out and started associating with people in the LGBTQIA+ community, and everyone is so sweet!!! I only ever feel accepted and included when I'm with my LGBTQIA+ friends, they really get me.. There's nights I've spent ALL night talking, laughing, and having fun, those nights/days people saw a side of me most people never get to see, the real me 😊 I'm still questioning my gender identity, but my sexuality (Bi, demiace, and demi-romantic) I know for SURE. I'm proud of myself for the progress I've made in coming out.. and it makes me tear up when I think of how little me would react if they saw me now, they'd be so proud and so overjoyed 🥹 Feel free to share anything in the replies, I'd love to hear y'all's experiences or comments. I’m bi and I wanna go by she/them pronouns but I’m scared. Don’t get me wrong, everyone feels a bit scared to tell their parents that their part of the LBGTQIA+ community. I don’t think my parents would be interested honestly they wouldn’t care one time my brother asked my dad what he would do if we were gay he said something like he wouldn’t care he’s not the one that’s doing it so it’s our life. That made me feel a lot better and my mom is super sweet and supportive she would except me for who I am. I’m just scared to tell people I’m scared people will look at me differently I’m scared my best friend will think I have a crush on her. I don’t and I’m scared that what if I’m not really bi what if I don’t really wanna go by she/them pronouns it would be too late to tell people. If you couldn’t tell, I’m an over thinker I over think everything and being in LBGTQIA doesn’t really help at all. I’m sorry about what you had to go though btw hope things get better with your parents❤️

If my parents reacted like this I would've been so purely overjoyed.. it would have been the BEST day of my life.. except it was the worse, I didn't even fully come out, I just asked, and they said they'd kick me out of the house and disown me if I came out.. I'm bi, genderfluid, Demi-ace, and demi-ro. I've only come out as demi-ace and demi-ro so far... But not bi or genderfluid yet.... I wish so badly I could express myself... It's such a burden especially since my parents sometimes look me in the eyes and say "Go change that sh*t, I'm not taking you anywhere like that, you're in a wheelchair already you don't need anymore people staring." whenever I wear a suit.. there was a day I dressed really masculine for the school pictures, and I was SO EXCITED, I felt SO confident, more confident than I've ever been in my life.. and my parents got pissed off and immediately wanted to change, they kept saying "AT LEAST put this skirt on so you look ladylike with the blazer, OR at LEAST put on a scarf!! You need to look like a lady!" It absolutely crushed my heart.. and I ended up going to school so upset, but my lover looked at me and said I looked amazing.. and that made my confidence go right back up. I've come out and started associating with people in the LGBTQIA+ community, and everyone is so sweet!!! I only ever feel accepted and included when I'm with my LGBTQIA+ friends, they really get me.. There's nights I've spent ALL night talking, laughing, and having fun, those nights/days people saw a side of me most people never get to see, the real me 😊 I'm still questioning my gender identity, but my sexuality (Bi, demiace, and demi-romantic) I know for SURE. I'm proud of myself for the progress I've made in coming out.. and it makes me tear up when I think of how little me would react if they saw me now, they'd be so proud and so overjoyed 🥹 Feel free to share anything in the replies, I'd love to hear y'all's experiences or comments. I’m bi and I wanna go by she/them pronouns but I’m scared. Don’t get me wrong, everyone feels a bit scared to tell their parents that their part of the LBGTQIA+ community. I don’t think my parents would be interested honestly they wouldn’t care one time my brother asked my dad what he would do if we were gay he said something like he wouldn’t care he’s not the one that’s doing it so it’s our life. That made me feel a lot better and my mom is super sweet and supportive she would except me for who I am. I’m just scared to tell people I’m scared people will look at me differently I’m scared my best friend will think I have a crush on her. I don’t and I’m scared that what if I’m not really bi what if I don’t really wanna go by she/them pronouns it would be too late to tell people. If you couldn’t tell, I’m an over thinker I over think everything and being in LBGTQIA doesn’t really help at all. I’m sorry about what you had to go though btw hope things get better with your parents❤️
