What is happening is awful; and the two young actors portraying jj and frankie really deserve an award they have acted out this very difficult and distressing storyline so well, I hope this encourages anyone who has been through or is going through sibling abuse in anyway to reach out and get help/support

That scene was so uncomfortable to watch... I reallly hoped they wouldn't go there but jj acting like an abusive bf made it more likely .. He needs to be caught! What a psychopath!

Jesus, the silence in the park really hit, so uncomfortable. I felt so sad for poor Frankie. The actress is doing a great job of portraying this difficult subject.

They both need to get award for this storyline. He plays the twisted brother so well. Playing mind games with frankie and rest of the family. He putting ideas into nancy Darren and his mother's head hoping no one will believe her when she finally speaks out. And poor frankie begging her brother to stop and leave her alone 💔

This is so heartbreaking no wonder Frankie lashes out, I didn’t like her at first but I do honestly feel sorry for her the more I watch, hope JJ gets caught sooner or later but brilliant acting by both of them 💔

Congrates to hollyoaks for raising awareness on a taboo that doesn't get discussed much, that said this storyline is very heartbreaking dark and sick, I find it very hard watching it atm very disburbing!!!!!! I can't wait for this to come out into the open and for jj to be found out for what he really is

It’s honestly such a testament to the writing and this young actress because when Frankie first came on scene I truly didn’t like her character at all and now I like her so much and my heart just breaks for her. Everything makes sense now. There are moments she has where you can see how sweet of a person she is and then moments where you can see how much the abuse has destroyed her. It’s such a sad but interesting storyline and something I just didn’t realize was so unfortunately common. Leave it to Hollyoaks to always tackle such hard storylines. And congrats to the actress who plays Frankie especially for her exceptional performance.

Thomas Winn from one Tom to another I also hope Frankie gets Justice. I think they previously did an incest storyline before though when Suzanne's eldest son Rhys began a relationship with his half - sister Beth Clements. Unfortunately Beth and Rhys were involved in a car 🚗 crash which Rhys survived but Beth unfortunately died. Rhys died later when the then teens drove a minibus 🚐 to the wedding 💍💒 venue where Tony and Cindy and Ste and Doug were getting married. It seems the Hollyoaks producers may have copied the incest storyline from Brookside.

It does feel like they copied the Brookside storyline though which is interesting and coincidental as Andre and Vicky's father Donny is played by the same actor who played Mick Johnson in Brookside and other Brookside actors such as Kristian Ealey, Alexandra Fletcher and Michael Starkey previously crossed over from Brookside to Hollyoaks. Alexandra who played Jacqui Dixon in Brookside is now Tony's current wife Diane Hutchinson in Hollyoaks, whilst Michael Starke who played Thomas 'Sinbad' Sweeney in Brookside now plays taxi 🚕🚖 driver Benny in Hollyoaks, whereas Kristian Ealey played the same character in both shows who's name was Matt Musgrove.

I can't understand why no-one has raised suspicion on it: Yes she drinks to block out what jj is doing!! - they just say she's jealous of jj but when he gets injured it's always in her Room?? So if he's Playing the Victim & blames Frankie Why would you keep going to her bedroom? She went for morning after pill & was crying" did the Nurse not think was this Consentual? But if she falls pregnant no doubt Lucas will be Blamed!! The Poor girl is crying out for HELP & ALL signs off trauma are waving at Darren/Mum/Nancy: I do think Nancy will Catch him at it or work it out herself: The story line is Great for awareness- But it's hard to watch & will open wounds for survivors out there & Carter could possibly work it out Also: Great acting from Frankie 💪🏾🤗 X

you say tell someone well guess what it ain't easy because 1 she lied about jack so that will get used against her in court on cross examination and no one will believe the she was raped by her brother who is meant to protect her. I appreciate that they are tackling this issue but it's taking too long for her to get help. Watching this escalate slowly over weeks is agonizing. I don't like that she's a kid in continual danger.

He would have been blaming her for years for all his actions, and she’s the problem child. Unfortunately this storyline may play out for a while, because it takes a lot to come to the point of saying something to someone when there’s all that self doubt and blame to struggle through.

First of all they sack Sarah Jayne Dunn who played Mandy Richardson just because she opened an only fans account, then they move the show from its primetime slot on Channel 4 and move it to its sister channel E4 instead, then they decide to cut back on the number of episodes per week and now they've cut costs be getting rid of some of the characters including Mandy's friend and step - sister Cindy Cunningham. At this rate they will have no show left at all and it'll be cancelled like Channel 4's other soap 🧼 Brookside was. No wonder Lysette Anthony told the producers to sort themselves out.
