Was never a Mazda fan until I drove a Miata. Now I have a 2020 Miata and almost 50K miles later the car hasn't needed anything besides the usual oil changes, tires, and brakes. My next one will be a CX-5 or CX-30. These are some of the most reliable and pleasurable cars to drive and they've really stepped it up with the aesthetics.

Very happy with my 2023 CX-5 in the Premium trim level. Above that is Premium Plus and then the three turbo trims. $35k was the sticker price and supply of the 2023's was very constrained back in Oct. 2022 so I paid it. No heads-up display until you get to Premium Plus. No regrets or problems as I am approaching 10,000 miles.

My first Mazda was a 1988 RX-7. Worst car I owned, but fun as hell. I went from BMW back to Mazda and bought a 2019 Mazda3 hatchback AWD. Love driving the thing. It's compact, handles great, and easy to drive on these awful layout New England roads. Could use a little more power, but it's still fun since I can use all the power often without endangering myself and everyone else.

Didn’t like the prices nor being lowballed on our van. She watched over my shoulder watching this video must have done a little crash test ratings research and we went to just see what they were about not ever being on our radar…drove away with a mid tier 24 cx-90 pre owned with 600 miles and an additional 6 grand more in our trade then anyone else offered. Reviewers have raved about CX-90 ever since it’s launch because of its beautiful styling, excellent build quality and performance that punches into the class above while undercutting the competition by well over 10k usd. It’s quite simply a phenomenal car and now it seems like it’s getting a clean bill of health from Scotty in terms of reliability. Big ups Scotty, I’ve been saying for years Mazda been underrated. IMO Mazda probably is the best kept secret in the car industry especially when it comes to getting more bang for your buck. Toyota and Mazda are in the same ballpark when it comes to reliability. Honda in the club also. But only if it’s made overseas as Scotty would say. So far so good the wife’s CX 5 is churning along. I think what’s going to happen is that I’ll inherit hers and she’ll get the 90 maybe a year or two down the line, and of course when the price goes down a little. I must be old but I never thought I would never see the day when just a average nice vehicle you would be paying over a thousand dollars a month for something that will depreciate the moment you drive it off the lot. But at the end of the day everybody likes nice things and to have nice things you have to pay for it.

I've been a Mazda lover since my old 1985 RX7. Our CX5 was bought in 2016 and I have, quite literally, had to do absolutely nothing to that car over almost eight years. Routine maintenance, tires, brake pads and rotors (which I did myself) and the car car has performed flawlessly. We are seriously thinking about upgrading either to the new CX5 or the CX90 since my wife likes the idea of the extra space. I drove a CX9 and loved it, this looks even better.

Scotty, wanted to respond to your comment about speed limit recognition in this model vs. others. Never was a fan of Mazda. Till back in 2018. Needed something with good gas mileage. Got a Mazda 6. Was very impressed with the quality and amount of features. Then I got a 2023 cx9 and now 24 cx90. For the money you spend you get the most features great quality. Any other manufacturer you would be over 90k for to get all the features Mazda offers. Not saying the cx90 is cheap by any means. But you get a lot more for your money with a Mazda vs any other manufacturer.

These vehicles are quickly convincing me plugin hybrids will eventually be a spoil sport to EVs: as PHEVs get closer to 100+ miles on electric, that will easily meet daily needs. While hybrid mode likely works fine on road trips or places with bad charging infrastructure. Maybe I'm overestimating how many people want that.

For starters for such a big car there is absolutely no room to work inside that engine bay it is absolutely stacked inside. Power on the go, comfortable drive, good visibility, great looking vehicle inside and out. My wife has a CX7, it runs great, no issues and over 1/4 mil miles, that had heavy weight factoring into buying another Mazda,Toyo and Honda were in consideration. Her dealership gives a loaner car w every service so if there are any issues, w new platform it’s likely, the loaner will cover that issue. Have driven it on 300 mile trips, comfortable and fun on the road. We got the 2nd highest package just before S class. If all goes well, good luck trying to find a 3 row SUV at this price w the features, you’d have to go luxury class to beat it.

I love my 2006 Mazda... Looks great and drives great! I wanted to upgrade to an SUV but I don't like the outside style of Mazda SUVs. The inside; however, is beautiful 😍

I miss my 2015 Mazda3! You don’t see that many Mazdas on the roads but they sure are excellent vehicles and are so much fun to drive! Excellent reliability!

    - "You don’t see that many Mazdas on the roads" Oh, you DO indeed if you're lucky enough to live in a town with a Mazda dealer.

Mazda has the driving dynamics and road feel down perfect. Just about any car in their lineup drives and feels fantastic. I have many friends with Mazdas as well as owning one myself, they're truly great reliable cars. I would love to get to test drive the new inline 6 in this.

Awesome car. One thing when time to get new tires... do not let them convince you to get a different type like Kumho the ride will be different, quite different. Keep original or better brand.

Good to see Mazda getting some long due notice. They were the silent option behind Toyota & Honda. Though i am concerned at the attempt to go "upscale". 2011 Mazda 3 2.5L. 200,914 miles.

I get why they're going upscale though, to separate themselves from Honda and Toyota. They can't compete with them in terms of sales, so in order to attract sales, their selling point would have to a one tier higher luxury. My 2019 Mazda3 HB AWD, feels a lot more premium than my friends 2021 Camry SE and both cars are basically the same price. The interior isn't scratchy plastic, all the buttons and control feels more expensive, and the infotainment looks a lot cleaner. Toyota and Honda interiors will not age well because it's too flamboyant. I do like the new Civic's interior, but not sure about the quality in person. It's looks very similar to the BP Mazda3.

The all-new, 2024 Mazda CX-90 Mild Hybrid AWD full-size crossover is one of the best vehicles in the North American market. It has the all-new, 3.3 L six-cylinder turbocharged engine with 340 horsepower and it has the all-new, eight-speed automatic transmission. This vehicle should do a comparison to the all-new, 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander HybridMax and the all-new, 2023 Honda Pilot with the all-new, ten-speed automatic transmission. Thank you very much and have a great week ahead.
