it's insane how much this game has to offer in terms of exploration and adventures. I am playing since 1300 hours and i bet i haven't seen 1/3 of all the awesome things ingame yet :D (although i knew about that ship there :P ). I always think i would love to just play on a PvE server, build somewhere cool, see something new, but then i would miss PvP too much and i scrap that idea ^^ Anyways, keep up the good work, WD

There are good servers that offer pve/pvp action. They have area's that are pve and the rest is pvp :)

Those B4 bay towns are favorite part of the island. I ALWAYS GET EATEN when trying to swim across.

Medium to Advanced Engineering isn't too bad a grind... Make a Dozen Stone Knives, Cut Down Trees, Saw into Planks -> Add items to Wheelbarrow Blueprint and then destroy the Blueprint. Repeat until Advanced. Make sure that you use the Stone Knives to fill the Blueprint or your good tools will take the hit. Additionally, adding just 1 long stick to each Blueprint will increase the amount you get for each Blueprint and speed up the process.

I've made a couple of trips around the saw mill a couple of times to level up from medium to advanced engineering. Works good imo.

Man, I am slightly psych'd but more saddened that you shared this, lol. I've yet to be discovered there on multiple servers throughout the time its been a thing.

Night time is the issue on many games since people just crank their windows settings to be able to see no matter how dark it is in-game.

I played The Long Dark up till chapter 3. When I started playing night time was so dark it was like turning the monitor off. I had a map with markers so I would just run through the woods and move over a little when I'd hit something until I got to where I was going. Now when it's too dark I just shut the game down until it gets day. A while back the owner of the server I'm on made the nights really bright. Not day time bright but, bright enough to see pretty good and not really need nvg's.

I’ve been to that ship back when rafts were still in the game. I also tried to swim to the island because of the ww2 bunker on the other side. I did get attacked and killed by a shark. But I’m surprised there is that stuff down below and yet nothing of value.

I like my advanced medical too much to go for advanced engineering. I started the character I have with 3 1 3 5 so I could get medium engineering and advanced medical. I like being able to take care of a C2 injury with one disinfected rag. I tend to get blown up quite frequently. That's usually a C4 a C3 and a C2. Currently I'm at 4 5 5 5.

I almost want to say that the shark is an urban legend because I've literally never seen one in my own game before. Granted I don't go swimming from A sectors to Z sectors or anything crazy like that, but I have never seen one and I almost wonder if they were removed or changed when all the animals got removed with the hunting rework.

My opinion they should finish water world first, because 0.5v (i don't remember how it was called, deep water or...) It's has so many potential, like where is daiving equipment? How to kill shark in water? So many underwater caves and nothing.... I apsolutly agree whit you what for all dous sinked whesels if they can't give you nothing.... the unfortunate thing in nights is some monitors with out any nvidia shaders etc can literally turn it into daytime with a single value adjustment on the actual monitor settings. Also, yeah, chance of shark is way too high, maybe they hopefully nerfed it a bit? The way it should be is if you go very slow and dont splash its kinda like stealth and reduces the chance of an attack by like 50% or so.

The shipwrecks currently seem to be just as bad as ww2 bunkers. Would be really cool, if the ships contained like a very rare drop of Gold. Also need some body skins; you could dress your toon in the finest armor and throw a bikini suit skin on.

farming engineering is easy just get a chainsaw and keep filling wheelbarrows with wood planks , it took me 2.5 hours to go from no skill to advanced

@@casual.wardog it still takes a lot of time, especially from med to adv - but you don't have to cut all that wood. So you just use ALT+C to create as many wheelbarrow blueprints as you can, then fill all with a knife. Then delete all blueprints from the building menu and repeat. Over and over and over again. While doing that I was thinking that could be nicely done by using a macro. But I ended up doing it manually.
