The guy with Gouda on the Dutch flag: Gouda is a town, the famous cheese is named after the town. So the reason he has it on the flag is because he's from the town. He will say he loves the cheese, but that's not the reason Gouda is on the flag.

Dass ist ganz einfach Kumpel, die Deutschen leben in ein System von regulierte Ordnung, für alles hat man Regel und Anordnungen und das lasst nicht viel Raum um richtig locker zu sein. Wir Niederländer sind irgendwie ohne diese Hemmungen, weil wir trauen uns das gute im Mensch, nicht nur in uns selber sondern auch in unsere Mitmenschen und das äußert sich in feiern mit jeder der dass möchte.

Uhm, these fan zones and the fan marches are just meant for crowd control. It's organised by Dutch and local police and other organisations, just so groups of drunk fans don't spread across the city and cause trouble. They make it fun so people actually want to be there, but it is very much regulierte Ordnung.
