Apparently this is similar to a minigame on Hypixel. I wasn't aware. I made a prototype for this about a year ago and remembered it recently. Just a coincidence I guess. This exact minigame exist since 2012 in many french servers. We called it "dé à coudre" which mean "thimble", because at the end there is only a few blocks of water available to land. This is like trying to land in something as small as a thimble.

I invented a game also, Sort of a mix of fishing, basketball and quidditch, also explosives, First you need a glitched tnt, when you blow too much up at once it makes a white larger than average about to explode tnt that doesn’t explode and you can fishing rod it, Then you need to build some hoops vertically (as many as you want and as high as you want) for each block up the hoop scores a point, at 3blocks you can get 3 points and -1enemy points and you can increase with higher hoops, Aim is first to (set number, eg. 20) points by fishing rodding (in creative) the tnt through their hoops wins, pitch can be as large as you want and it is very customisable in layout and rules

These mini game ideas are reminding me of back when I used to watch stampy make all his really cool mini games and then play them and then I would replicate the games to play with the brother

I'm a beginning map maker and I would love to put all of these in one world, flesh it all out with datapacks and commands to make for an awesome multiplayer map you can play with your friends, so don't be suprised if you see me using all these amazing minigame idias soon. (ps: I will give credit where due)

i played something similar except there was no fighting to the top, it was just taking turns, jumping and placing a block where you land. if you die from fall damage(landing where someone else landed) you are out and last to survive wins.

i havent seen that many videos from this guy but this is as far as i can remember is at least the second time a minigame is just suspiciously similar to another already existing, so this for me is strike two.
