Great performance! The man on the strat was shredding before shred was even heard of. Ass kickin' guitar solo!🎸

Watching this, it’s very clear Stu and Doug were essential parts of the Creedence sound and very solid musicians, John was the brain and the heart for sure, but they were the soul, and so was Tom It’s a shame they never could settle their differences…

Credence without John is not Credence.

And John Fogerty and whoever backs him up, sure as hell isn't Creedence Clearwater Revival. I've seen Fogerty in concert, and Revisited in concert; Revisted sounds more like CCR, than Fogerty. Revisted will never have the CCR version of Fogerty, and Fogerty will never sound like himself in CCR, AND, HE CANNOT HIRE AN ORIGINAL RHYTHM SECTION (BASS & DRUMS). So, to me, I'd rather hear Revisted, than country twanging Fogerty. I know Fogerty wrote that music, but HE just doesn't sound like John in 1967 through 1971, and his back up bands sound like they are better suited backing up Miranda Lambert.

This so called?! Ccr performance is total bogus! That's not John fogerty singling the lead .it's k St some loser the 3 other ccr originals who cut John's throat but cutting her m from the band found! After all he done to make ccr great?! Not good at all. In fact it sucks plain and simple . My hats off and my heart out to you. Dear. John fogerty! Love ya man!! K.l. Denver pa.

John wrote, produced everything we know as CCR, and because he was the boss there, HE ORDERED THE OTHER THREE TO SIGN THE CONTRACT THAT FANTASY PRESENTED. Tom, the brother, had a few reservations, but ultimately, John called the shots. A few years later, John realized they were not getting what they should have been getting. Now, he wanted to sue, and for the others to jump on board, and possibly lose the royalties. The others didn't want to because that is what they relied in to support their families. John threw a fit, the others said, "Oh, well." It's the saddest story or one of them, in rock history. John was a a control freak. I used to believe that the others backstabbed him, too, but then I started reading books about them, from people that were involved with them, and people who researched CCR. John was just a motherfucker. That shit he pulled at the induction of CCR into The Hall of Fame, where he used Bruce Springsteen and some other musicians, instead of the surviving members, exemplifies what an asshole he was. Him being an asshole and them not agreeing with him, AFTER he arranged the contract, is what really ruined them. But, hey, you're entitled to believe anything you want.

It may not be Fogerty with thhis group, but still a great version. I grew up skating to this song, I am 60 now and would skate to this version in a heartbeat.

But Johnny "Bulldog" Tristao is really awesome. And the electric guitar player, what can I say about him? He's just a magician. I became addicted to the sound of his electric guitar in this song.

I remember all the managers at the resort we worked at missed work the next day cuz we saw these guys and got drastically drunk. Good times!

John killed it when he was in CCR, and his band mates, were CCR. For the past 40 years, John hasn’t sounded like John from CCR. The growl has been gone. And, whoever backs him up, well, THEY AREN’T CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL.

I would agree vocally. Having seen John Fogerty perform this live, his current version is not that good musically. I think Elliott Easton is what makes this version rock.

It beats hearing John Fogerty and his back up bands; they sound so country. You can’t replace the rhythm section that was CCR; Doug Clifford and Stu Cook.

@@villegas24 : Villegas, I respect all members of a band, each plays a crucial part; however I am a purist and maybe a sentimentalist; John Fogerty was "CCR". I wouldn't go to this concert even if they paid me. On the other hand I bought the very first VHS concert when John Fogerty came back from retirement.

Doesn't do it for me. To harsh disjointed & is nothing like the original that took you on a journey..

Very good playing, the vocals are quite average

If it ain’t John Fogerty, it ain’t Creedence Clearwater anything. I wouldn’t pay shit to watch these guys try to rip off John’s music.
