I vote for keeping your teeth natural as long as possible. As soon as you do things like crowns or veneers you put a timeline on how long they'll last before you have to do more work.

It reminds me of the Bluey episode where they go to the little street fair. Australia is the cutest place in the world!

That caterpillar is for a Case Moth. The one you found is small, as they can be up to 15cm long. They spend most of their lives in their case dragging it along looking for food.

keep your teeth! I agree I like the character and uniqueness of natural teeth. I find it’s so obvious when people have been veneers and it rarely looks good

Meanwhile I am laughing at the Blackbutt references. We have a whole town in Queensland named Blackbutt 😅. It’s a type of wood.

The sign "Blackbutt" is not a racist name as a lot of people think. It is a type of Australian tree that has a black base. The base of a tree is called a 'Butt" , hence the name. Still makes a lot of people giggle😀

Loving your family’s adventures. I have lived in Australia all my life and only seen 1 koala in the wild. Some areas have greater populations. Fires and disease have really decimated the population 😢 Also if you have to point out the offending tooth you have answered your own question. Spend the veneer money on more adventures. Ps unless the tooth goes black. Then definitely get the veneer.
