Hi John. Some great android apps out there now like audio evolution mobile but needs usb host mode and android phones can't provide much more than 100mA at 5V. This controller will be great to stop you having to have loads of y cables to power it.

Can u review one of the icon midi keyboards?

5:53 I have this keyboard and is true, the velocity sucks BUT you can use a VST with velocity curve control and voilá! almost perfect for a very low price

I play piano using Addictive Keys VST which has velocity control and is very much comfortable

A lot of mixed opinions with MidiPlus. I have a friend who loves hers, but I’ve also read complaints with overly sensitive pitch and mod strips on a few of their models.

I have Midiplus but not manual, I just wonder if it's possible to program this midiplus for play back , or play backround sounds, please if any body knows where we can get the manual thanks

how can you assign midi out channel on this thing?

Good day JM, the bluetooth Midi Device that you are using, does it have to be connected to both the Midi In & Out of the controller or can it be only connected to the Midi Out? Because there are quite a few controllers which only have Midi Out.

It can just be connected to the midi out

Yes you can just plug it into your laptop and go...on a scale of 1-10 I’d give it a 5...it’s missing some core things that would make it a good midi controller...but if you just need something with keys that plugs into your computer...this will work fine

Are you going to review the Midiplus i61 keyboard? It's the cheapest 61 key I can find anywhere

Hello, I have the midiplus 61 u and I'm not very happy with the curve of the velocity, I'm learning how to play piano . Would you recommend me the M audio keystation 61 or another keyboard instead? I like the option to connect with vst and have great vst sounds. I was watching the casi ctk 3400/3500 but it seems to be with less than m audio.

Bras or batteries? 😂. I think you meant D size. There isn’t a double D. And just to note, I think manufacturers are really risking legitimacy when they put batteries in anything. A USB cable or a power adapter are all that should ever be required. Unless of course you go camping, hike your keyboard in, and write remotely without a power source. The battery thing really delegitimizes a product and screams cheesy. Whether it actually is or isn’t, think it’s a bad idea. It really took some self-encouragement to buy my Zoom Livettrack 8 because it takes batteries. Hate that. Anyway, looks like a solid board. I don’t think a switch that allows you to choose between USB and battery etc is cool or neat. It’s just a switch. I’d rather it have no switch and just know which one you are using by automatically sensing the source. Now that would be cool or neat. I get it’s a sub 100 dollar controller, but there are a lot of feature-rich controllers out there for just a little more $$.

😂😂😂😂😂 right!...and I absolutely agree...I said it during the video...there are lot better options for the money...plus it doesn’t come with any software...any type of control knobs or faders(even tho it’s billed as a midi “controller”) I was literally trying to find something that was good about it lol...that’s why when I saw the switch I said “oh this is cool” 😂😂🤷🏾‍♂️....

Yea good starter keyboard...but it needs to be plugged to a computer or iOS device to get sound...no built in sounds
