When we redid the floors in our appartment my dad’s ”friend” helped out. He was a bit of an alcoholic so he was useless in the morning and in the afternoon but when he hit his alcohol sweetspot around 12.00 he was a fucking wizard. Did the exact same thing as this guy but eyeballed it and sketched it out roughly with a pencil and the tile slid in with pretty much 0.5mm of gap.

My dad’s 73 and has been a tile layer since he was 16 or so, in the mid-60s. He started as an apprentice and had his own crew by 22. I worked with him a lot over the years. I remember I was 8 in ‘96 and he would take me at huge construction sites to help him and learn the job. Stuff like this technique in the video was his bread and butter, and I would see him do all kinds of clever tricks, especially when it came to laying a tile around radiator pipes coming out of the floor - I have seen him open holes on the tile for the pipes to fit through. In my experience the true sign of tile laying marksmanship is not the work around corners and small areas, but keeping the required tile number exactly the same when laying tiles across very large rooms that may have walls and foundation pillars or other obstacles. Too often tile layers may miss the measurements and mark, and may have to cut the tile or add pieces of a tile next to a wall, when laying a big area. Keeping the pattern and not requiring more or less of a tile when going through an obstacle is an amazing feeling, and it looks amazing afterwards too. My dad’s also an artist when it comes to making marble stairways. Now that’s an art - from measurements to laying the marble itself, it’s a tough job and not a lot of people know how to do it correctly.

I remember my papa (dad's uncle) putting a new tile floor in his house in the 70s. This is exactly how he measured them. I watched intently as I was extremely interested in work like this as a tomboy teen. He built a whole underground distillery under his house to make root-BEER. Alcoholised rootbeer. He got pretty wealthy on that. This is in Canada. No one but our family knew about it. He did an extremely professional job of building it. I'm glad this randomly came up on my feed. @@cunnyman School doesn't really teach you jack. Unless it's like in law or the medical field. Mandatory classes like Math, English, Science, and History is so stupid. Obviously it's fine to force those things to get the basics, but why force those classes on Highschool students? Hell even in college you are still forced to take Math and English classes, why? If I'm going into engineering they can teach me any amount of math I need for that class in that class. Schoop also teaches kids to be less creative and how not to think on their own. It's sad really. Hell when you look up what school was made for it was to put people into the factories and that still hasn't changed. Look at everyone's solution in life, "Go to college you will be successful and happy." I'm only going to college to avoid paying rent at my parents house. I'm currently trying to become a teacher in math because I found I really enjoy teaching that subject even though it can be very boring, but I'm still only going to avoid rent. School doesn't prepare you for shit really. Experience does prepare.

That’s the thing about most labor, the end result is seen by the buyer and not the one doing the job. Just getting yelled at by supervisors and bosses, and having customers complain that I'm slow af. I've lost a job before for being thorough with my tasks. Been pressured to quit jobs too because they thought I was being slow because I'm lazy or don't care about my job. For the people that acknowledge my hard work I take great pride, but all the negative feedback just burns me out. You don't know him. That's one possible reason. Maybe they screwed up and this was the save to fix it. Maybe it was planned. What would actually be fast to you in this situation to tile around the door? And does this person do good work for pride or to uphold a reputation of quality service to be competitive? Not saying you're wrong. I just hate people assuming things about situations and deciding they are correct.

He had gotten to the point of selling them for a living and i noticed he is always spending lavishly and never thought of our kids and I oh I thought that was enough until he brought a woman to our bed while i was away to satisfy his sexual urge. I got all the information i needed from his phone through the great services of (Cybermicheal1995@gmail.com)💯that hack his phone without his knowledge.i gain access to his voice call and messages both deleted ones, i won't have known if i didn't take this good step. I did that in high school and college in a few classes. I also did it once in a skills test in my worst subject, mathematics. I told the person reviewing the results that even though I stink at math, none of the answers to a certain question could possibly be right. They pulled up the question, looked at the answers...looked again....kept looking...started working the problem...then asked how I knew. I told them my convoluted way of working the problem, and how none of the answers were in range with what the possible answer was, no matter how the problem was worked, or even if I did the math right. After doing the problem fully, they agreed and threw out the question.
