They get shit on for being openly Christian A LOT and I think it kind of get's them undeserved flack. At the end of the day they have such a unique style of extremely positive/uplifting lyrics mixed with energetic hard rock that it's almost impossible to not feel good while listening to their music and that's what makes them stand out.

I'm an atheist and Skillet is one of my favorite bands. Even if I'm not a believer anymore I can still relate to some of their lyrics. The songs are super catchy and the band members are incredibly talented at what they do. They make great sounding music and I love them :) also Jenna's singing voice is beautiful and epic❤️

I've got quite a few songs on my "favorite forever" list that are just pure Christian Rock. Nothing really bad about it; I might not believe the same thing they do, but if the music's good, why would I care? They hit the exact kinda tune I like, they're powerful and they showcase that power beautifully.

What really helped me with my old favorite Christians bands was listening to people like Jordan Peterson talk about religion and how to view it in a secular light. When I hear them talking about god/jesus I instantly interrupt it as the representation of the ideal father personality inside each person looking over the self protecting you.

The resistance - Skillet

I've watched this video hundreds of times and it's incredibly well-produced! They tie everything is so seamlessly; the music is raw and powerful, it fits the lyrics which are rallying and charged to the max. The visuals match the band and the theme of the song; The sapper, the samurai, the plague doctor... Swords and smoke grenades tie in beautifully with Jen's cymbal smashing and Kory's guitar work while both ladies throw their hair around so epically. And Johns beard...So much yes!

The best part is that their better live, which is unusual for a band to be. The whole band is so damn good and they are true showartists on stage. When i saw them at Sweden Rock Festival my jaw dropped to the floor and beyond, Skillet truly a legendary band in my eyes

I saw them last October and I was singing along and dancing so hard I couldn't move or speak the next day it was the best concert I've ever been to and I've been to over 100 shows the energy was off the charts and I couldn't wipe the goofy grin off my face for the rest of the night

From what I heard, for the previous album she laid down all the tracks in 8 hours (with a pretty picky producer, no less). She doesn't have the blindingly fast rifts of some drummers, but she has absolutely spectacular timing, a gorgeous voice, and still somehow maintains her humility. A real professional.

The singer came and talked to me this summer at the media tent thinking I was a manager haha and we talked for a while and he was so nice to me ! I didn't even recognized him at that point until someone asked him for a photo, and he accepted to made the intro for my last vlog on my channel 🤗🖤 I respect this band so much more since. They are true to their fans and very commited, they are real and insanely talented 🖤

I like you love their passion and the way the write and deliver the message of their songs. Subtle at times and then punch you hard. Got to meet them and they opened the concert with this song. My daughter is one of their biggest fans and she got to meet them and this was her first concert. These guys are amazing and so cool in person. Can’t wait to see what they bring out next.

This song is probably my favorite Skillet song, or at least one of my favorite Skillet songs, and for fact according to Spotify, one of my top 30 most listened to songs of the year to date.

Hey Alex! I have seen Skillet 11 times and counting live! Each time I see them live they go more and more ballistic!

Their AWESOME in Concert. Love Skillet. Heard them for the 1st when my Goddaughter passed away at 5 weeks. Her Grandna played Lucy. Than went and listened to them and seen them 5 times

You NEED to see them in concert. This song especially is amazing live. My husband and I saw them in concert, it’s quite the experience. A great band, with a great message.

one of my all time favorite skillet songs

What's not to like about Skillet? Musically, they're tight, lyrically, the words are thoughtful, and the sheer energy of their delivery, whether live or in a studio, is contagious! If you aren't headbanging to a Skillet tune, you must be comatose. ✌😸

Good choice listening to Skillet Alex, my personal favs are: "Hero" "Monster" "Not Gonna Die" & "Comatose". On an unrelated note "Dragonforce" has a new album out "Extreme Power Metal".

My personal favorites are most likely the more underrated ones. Like: Those Nights What I Believe Salvation Edit: but your list is very good as well

Those Nights and Older I get are amazing songs!

You need to see them live, if you think the videos are powerful and exciting, you can't imagine what they are like in a live concert setting. Absolutely mind blowing concert if you ever get to see them.

React to Skillet - The Resistance!!! That’s the final song they play at every concert!!! You’ll go crazy over that one. From the Skillet concerts I’ve seen, that song was perfect to end with a BIG BANG!!!
