I was not wicked to my wife before I got born again but I was also a terrible sinner, a fornicator,a smoker ,a drunker. But I stopped all that a year after our marriage. We got married in 1984 and in 1985 we both got born again. Glory be to God.

It's so sad a large percentage of men spend their youth pleasing the devil. If only they are aware of why the devil is particular about them. Once the devil gets man it affects the children and as a result affects the society. This is why I wish more programs would be held for men. May the lord help men out there including generations to come. It is well!

Our society has not been holding them accountable for their actions. Instead it teaches women to bear the burden of ill raised men. It would be so much better if society taught men to bear their own burdens and treat women with care.

I just came to discover this and I'm so much blessed as a young wife facing 'things'. Please the wife's testimony will be much appreciated!

I honestly would not have remained there getting abused and having more children in hate and abuse. Low self-esteem, lack of finances, and cultural norms keep a lot of women in these dangerous relationships. I am happy it worked out for them by God's grace and mercy. But their story is the exception, not the rule in violently abusive relationships. The women often die in these unions. PS: Don't "come for me" in the comments. Thank you and God bless. 🙂

Honestly, your comment is not out of order. You are correct to say "their story is the exception". The saving grace for their marriage is the encounter with JESUS, and this is the real essence of this testimony - to point viewers to what Jesus can do in any life, no matter how dirty. Most people that are married don’t like each other they just tolerate each other and get comfortable and start to abused one another because of being comfortable in the marriage.They have love for each other but not in love 😍 theirs a strong difference thank God they gave their lives to the Lord......

I Love this Elders and his Wife testimony they are such a blessing I shared it on Facebook and to My Son and Daughter nlaw who’s Married . They are saved but Youngmen as Older Gentlemen need to hear this. A lot of Married Couples need this and there are plenty of Women young and older are in abusive Marriages. Even in 2021 and it’s very sad that this day and age it’s still going on. I've been married 28 years this month (September 11th) and I was amazed at their story. It is truly by the grace of God that they are still married today, he's not in prison for attempted murder and both mother and baby survived the ordeal. Thank you for the upload.
