OK so maybe I should have cast the Armageddon there, would have Armageddon if I had another attack or turn. Didn’t want to set myself back without a path forward. In jeskai it’s not that hard to get outraced for mana, esp if you’re the last one to rebuild. Plus any bounce or sacrifice for Narset and I’m boned.

I run narset and any chance I have to blow up lands I go for it. Armageddon would have taken out Cassius and set everyone else back. I understand the hesitancy but in my opinion you just go for it and see what happens. Great game to watch regardless.

Part of that I think was that game knights takes like 10 hours to film. So it’s a much longer day than the viewer would think. Imagine playing a 10 hour game of edh, getting mana screwed, and losing. Probably not going to be in the best mood.

This is fast becoming one of my favourite Commander shows. The chemistry you guys have, and the guests you're able to bring on... it's an awesome formula, and the show is definitely coming into its own.

Oppression is a triggered ability. He could have played the hullbreacher in response to it activating.

the fact that there was no close-up on snow-covered island during the buttplug commentary is a crime against humanity

I get the feeling that this game was full of mistakes that made this game chaotic.

@@ConvoyBebop Game Knights often, but not always, promotes the newest releases of MTG. In instances where they do not do that, or have a really powerful set like e.g. Modern Horizons 2, the power level can sometimes reach 8 or 9. But yeah, on average the decks you see here are stronger.

there's a couple moments during the game where he does a really perplexed 'how am i going to the next turn without somebody going off' expression (or at least that's what im thinking when i do that same face). him and kyle are absolutely my favorite guests, the group really meshes together well

I love that the cards are put on screen to read better. As a MTGA player I don't know half the cards and this really helps. Thanks!

You guys are the best dollar store versions of famous people that I ever watched.

Loved this episode! Correct me if I'm wrong though, a lot of talk at the end but Urza is being read wrong, it's not activate and play the card there and then it's activate, exile the card and until end of turn you may play it, so you can exile the entire deck without needing to cast any of it, and then you can pick and choose what to pkay from exile on any order to win.

You guys are quickly becoming my favorite EDH channel. Your videos effortlessly capture the simple fun of hanging out with friends at a Local Game Store and having a good time with them. Even when the salt is flowing, it's clear y'all are still having fun. Keep it up!

Kyle was definitely the MVP of this episode. The Man of Science explaining the steps for people not familiar with combos was a godsent. Bless you Mr Hill, keep doing what you do ❤

it should have been but he discarded it due to the oppression enchantment I think, so he never actually exiled a card to play it to begin with. Which he would have needed to exile his pact of negation I assume, losing his second counter spell.

Love these gameplays, 100% the conversations and banter that you have in a normal high powered game and showing the common high powered games.

Thassa's Oracle is exiled from the force of will, not discarded, so Kyle's line for Cashis' win doesn't work.

This pod, these players, this show! *Chef's Kiss* Expecting Narset to take off this game, but anything can happen with these guys!

What I love about this, besides the slow enough gameplay and card preview that I can follow, is the interaction among the players. Reminds me of my playgroup, but also, makes the content feel authentic. Like your not playing to make a video, but playing to play, while just so happens that there is a camera recording…think that makes sense. LOVE THE CONTENT

The banter and jokes are one of my favorite parts about this channel. The constant ribbing is so good.

I am so glad that we are not the only ones forgetting about that force of will 'pay 1 life' EVERY TIME. :DD

I predicted it would eventually be banned when it was first released. They'd been openly discussing banning "problematic cards for their interactions with wheels" for like a month prior to it being banned.

23:00 rebound spells only rebound if they're cast from hand, it wouldn't have rebounded even if it had resolved

First time on your channel. I love how casual and friendly people are compared to other channels. More of a homie system rather than a big production.

I watched this on Patreon but I liked this one so much I'm back. Seriously the best one, the banter and chat was perfect.

So yeah Cassius was definitely gonna win here, but Thassa's Oracle was supposed to be exiled with Force of Will, so he should not have won with that.

they would have scooped anyways and I don't know if the rule effect for time twister allows you to put exziled cards back into the deck but it doesn't matter they untap 2 permanents a turn and cash has infinite counter spells so he just locks them out and swings for 1 or can just keep lasting urza for constructs and kill them via combat damage

If I didn't live in Ny I'd be playing at cash's store for sure. He always seemed to be super chill and cool on game knights. He was my favorite guest on GK in the early days. I wish he'd do a video tour of his store or at least have pictures of the entire thing. Can't really find what the store looks like overall
