At this point, I'm just watching this show just to understand the mlb fanfiction. HEAR ME OUT, i've read some damn good fanfiction of this show, some are just a re telling of the canon events and changing some events. I read one that had me pondering over my existence. Im just here to understand the context behind the masterpiece of the fanfiction.

The only reason I could think of for it being a rule is because if one knew the identity of the other and Hawk Moth managed to figure out one of their identities, then the other may end up accidentally giving away the identity of the other, so to ensure that Hawk Moth can’t get the other they need to hide their identities entirely. It’s never explained to us like this, but we do see the consequences of it in Ephemeral, but it’s handled so poorly because Asstruck is just the worst at writing stories.

It's a need in a few levels, for one it keeps the drama going, its one of the actual interesting relationship points. For another they cant realistically write them knowing each other without messing up their character. Kuroneko should be the episode that [deletes] CN's attraction to LB, Exact same guy, same skill, but acting out the persona imposed to him by Gabriel... and Ladybug simps so hard she cant work. His whole thing is that as a hero he can stop being serious and perfect, and got indirectly told "nah I like the souless you better". And from Adrien's PoV Marinette should have come off as a crazy fan already. Unless they want to explore long-term emotional abuse that CN is clearly being affected by their relationship would be so unhealthy it wont even be funny

Knowing that marionettes parents being a self insert for Thomas’s ideal life with his ex ( very creepy) answers one of my biggest questions at least. Why was she Gabe’s child. The story is literally centered around Adrian. His dad’s the villain, his mom’s the reason this whole show is happening, he himself is tied to miraclous beyond his control. In another work HE is the protagonist.

Has it ever occurred to you that the reason that Adrian stays LB partner even thought all the abuse, is because he's used to it? I mean he practically still loves his father even thought hes: -isolated him from the outside world -controls his everyday life -picks his friends for him (kagami and chole) -do modeling, and I'm not even sure Adrian likes fencing -waits until the last minute that something changed -does everything in his power to make sure Adrian doesn't spend time with his true friends -used affection as a form of minupulation so he would break up with Mari(there was other times but this all I could remember) And the cherry on the cake -neglects him Abuse victims, unfortunately run back to their abuser as a form of home base something that their familiar with when things get out of control(this is not true for all mind you). And LB is no different, it's comments like "no one can replace you" is what keeps him from going solo or stop be a user in the first place He's holding on to hope, even when there's nothing to hold.

Abuse victims crave being abused, also his response to Scarabella MAKES SENSE, as most of us abuse victims are very hyper vigilant and have trust issues. This analysis could've worked if OP understoood abuse and how it affects its victims to a far greater extent. Also, Lb keeps mistreating him over and over again with no intent on changing her horrible behaviour.

There was a fanfic that explored this called “Marionette” by ive_been_thinking_too_much. It’s part of 3 part series that is still ongoing. This fic explores how Adrien felt like he was a puppet being controlled by others and how he began to slowly break free from it. First it was his father, then slowly it was LB and their “partnership”. You see the true face of what Gabe has been doing to Adrien and it doesn’t seem exaggerated at all. Then there’s how his relationship with LB unravels. It seems so natural with how it happened. This fic is brutal emotionally. You feel his pain and utter despair and how he slowly falls apart and has to go and put himself back together on his own.

Bro- THIS! 👏🏾 I was honestly thinking of something like this! It could've been an interesting concept for the show to explore.

Marinette is a character that I WANT to like. She has the foundation of a good character that can grow and develop as the plot moves a long. It's just a shame that the foundation was built on quicksand. Had it been up to me, I would have written her as a character who learns from her mistakes and makes proper amends for wrongs. The failings of this series does make for some dope fanfiction.

​@user-uw1do5yr4n Marinette could easily be rewritten, remove her obsession, make her far less popular, make her stress with being Ladybug apparent from day one and have her hide it behind a confident facade (like Mami Tomoe, a FAR better character, and she dies three episodes in! Marinette has had five seasons as the protagonist and somehow has less depth! They're both from magical girl shows by the way.) And have that facade break at one point, allowing Hawk Moth to take advantage and forcing Cat Noir to take charge. (For the Madoka fans who perked up at my Mami comment, Marinette is basically Madoka and Mami combined without the nuance, and a little bit of Homucifer added in as a quirk.)

Little on Zoey, a lot on Cat: The only reason I liked Zoey's introduction was because that episode was the first one in AGES to have a completely new character and villain. After a point, the show very obviously started reusing their villains over and over because they were out of fucking ideas, and I realized in that moment how much I missed the old formula of actually introducing an original character, seeing how and why they snap and what new abilities it translates over to when they transform, and how the heroes use their limited moveset to win. Cat Noir's degredation took me so long to notice personally because originally it was (a very flawed) base of his entire character - it wasn't a good thing, but it made sense at first. The point of a ladybug and a black cat themes are that they are symbols of luck and misfortune, and that's the base of their powersets. Since Ladybug has been set up as the ONLY one capable of handling the Akumatizations on her own (she can manage without Cat, Cat is physically incapable of managing without her), it means that predictably Cat Noir is always the one to get hit by the villain, or get incapacitated, or be on the sidelines. They were set up from the beginning to be unequal, with Cat always being sacrificial and the punching bag. When it was just the *derp episodic formula* it was tolerable. When they acknowledged he was upset with it and NEVER resolved it beyond gaslighting and telling him "It's okay because we say it is", you realize that no it's an actual problem. It's made uncomfortable because he's helpless in his real life too and being Cat Noir is supposed to be how he frees himself from the constraints of a life where someone else (mainly his father) decides how he lives. So when he's STILL overlooked, untrusted, put on the sidelines, it's almost tragically understandable and you can tell it was NOT an accident - it was a super shitty destruction of his character, neglect not only in universe but also from the dang writers.

It would be such a great story to have Adrien be the protagonist, literally Adrien has everything to be an amazing protagonist,Villain father, missing mom, a good-hearted boy who has powers that can be used for evil,A boy who wants to make friends and his own life

My head canon is that Chat Noir died from getting hit by his own cataclysm in season 3 Miracular when the villain cataclysmed him. The "Miraculous Ladybugs" did not heal Chat Noir's wound, and after the ladybugs fixed everything, he pretended that he was fine to make Ladybug feel better and not have her worry about him. I don't know where he would die, but it would be between the end of season 3 and start of season 4. It would explain how stupid Adrian is in Season 4 and the out of nowhere "Adrian is a sentimonster" thing. Is there stuff that contradicts this? Yes, but the show already f''ed its storyline so why would I care? Also nice video! You def deserve more views and subs for the editing and effort put into your video :D

I can agree with that tragic take. The "Miraculous Ladybugs" did not "heal" nor "restore" Chat Noir/Adrian. Chat Noir/Adrian was gone so it could only do the next best thing that the Miraculous of Creation could do: It remade him. The Chat Noir/Adrian we see from that moment on was a fresh new facsimile with a personality that was more attuned to how Ladybug/Marinette saw and thought Chat Noir/Adrian should be like. That is why Chat Noir's/Adrian's character development and relevance went so wrong afterward: Chat Noir's/Adrian's journey has ended through death via cataclysm. And the worst part is that nobody, not even the audience, has realized it.

The arc had potential and should have ended with cat noir becoming akumatized so Ladybug would have to face Cat Blanc again! That way she would realize that she left him out for nothing, and then after saving him she would apologize and promise to be a better partner to him! After, this she actually does start treating him better! There, I'm not a writer, but I came up with a better ending to the arc!

EXACLLY! I was hoping Cat Blank will come back. Ladybug pushed Cat Noir away cuz she was afraid of cat noir dark side. But her actions would lead her directlly to faceing her biggest fear. Or maybe he could become anty-hero. Maybe he could be more brutal with villans. Not the akumatized one, but sentimonsters and bad miraculous holders. I mean imagine him stealing some of miraculouses and be like. I'll give it to those who join me cuz ladybug is a hipocrite. She lets them know they secret identities, but her and cat cannot. But why

17:12 Ladybug rarely gets punished for being overconfident, dismissive, and or demeaning to others. The only times she does is when the plot says she can. Many dislike Reflectdoll for this reason alone as it is infuriating to see someone act so high and mighty when they don’t deserve to act like such.

To be fair to Cat Noir in Hack-San: Yes, he did jump to conclusions, but ask yourself: what other choice did he have? Some (as far as he knew) random girl shows up declaring herself to be the new holder of the Ladybug Miraculous and in his head, he probably and did think either: 1) This is an Akumatized Villain. (The whole dying slowly was introduced in a later season. His prior knowledge of what happens to people was a shut down robot girl and himself with broken ribs.) 2) This is a Sentimonster. (Meaning it will just go out of control.) 3) This is (once again) some random girl who probably stole the Earrings (and/or did something to Ladybug). (Regardless of how much of a "simp" you think Chat is, I'm pretty sure anyone who would do something bad to Ladybug (Paris' Premiere Superhero) would be a criminal regardless of his love for her.) In addition: Alya did not identify herself as Rena Rouge (a trusted ally that doesn't compromises her identity [because as Rocketear told us he didn't know even though Miracle Queen happened, but that's not the point] in addition to possibly hiding the fact that she knows who Ladybug is.)

I guess you have somewhat of a point, for all he knew, the cataclysm could confirm if it was a sentimoster or not and if it was not then the person gets like what, a broken bone? That's just an another battle advantage. If you think this battle strategic then this was quite an convinen(whatever the word is) and great move. As a former fan of Adrien/Cat Noir, you don't know how much I agree with you. Yeah, after rewatching season four makes me want to throw myself into a mental institution. The episodes are merely filler and contributions ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO THE PLOT. Honestly, it feels like the series is overall gaslight and insulting my intelligence and everyone's excuse is, 'It's a kids show.' And when I pull the ATLA, Kim Possible or Justice League [The animated series] is a kids show which also have WAY BETTER writing, no one has an argument. I'll just continue reading and listening the Miraculous fanfics because at least the fans have more love and respect for the series than the actual creator. @@Alan-tt5cr If that’s your opinion, I’m more than happy to respect it. For me, as I said yes. They did so things to move the plot. The problem is that they went back to square one in the end. Which yes can happen to some stuff, but wouldn’t it be better if it kept going forward rather than go backwards? Adrigami and Lukanette are a golden example. They both were good for moving forward, yet went backwards and died. As if it doesn’t matter.

Woah, I finally finished it. This is some good shit, I very much enjoyed the video. Season 4 is basically Chat's failed redemption (Because Marinette is apparently always in the right and because of selfish and not understandable reasoning) even though he didn't need one and Astruc can't accept it because its only response to the tweets is: "Go watch the show and you'll understand." Like, come on. The build-up is so fucking awful. Anyway, good video. Keep it up.

I’ll prove my video essays are worth it when my Marinette one drops. Glad you managed to watch it.

As I said in my own various rants and critiques of this show, I found it hard to actually criticize this show because it repeats the same flaws at a fundamental level. Astruc throws plot points and threads at the wall in hopes something sticks. This means that: - No character or story arcs are thought out. - Teasing substance is being used in place of actual substance which just makes the answer to the mysteries be boring, uninspired, and anticlimactic. - Escalation of tension is non-existent. - Worldbuilding is shallow. - Characters come off as stupid, malicious, or inept beyond all thresholds of sympathy. The sad part is that this show isn't unique. The tropes associated with the Henshin Hero are older than Astruc. He should have plenty of references to use to construct this world and plot.

Season 4 is rushed homework in cartoon form. They waste time and procrastinate with meaningless plot and half baked power ups and then are shocked when they have to rush to the end of the season to wrap everything up. Ephemeral, Kuro Neko, Hack-San, Simpleman, Psychomedian, and Queen Banana by plot standards are the biggest wastes of time I have ever seen. Queen Banana offends me on a personal level as it’s JUST the same plot we had in season 1 but done worse. Penalteam is a waste as its purpose is power showcase, not character showcase which kills the “teamwork” aspect as no one except ladybug gets to come up with the final solution. Pair that with season 1 villain stakes given a “season 4” threat level and this episode feels like it doesn’t know what it wants to be.

I still love Adrien/Cat Noir still it makes me mad how Thomas butchered him dammit 😭😭 Adrien is the main reason I watch this show to begin with. On the bright side movie Adrien is alot better Zag and his writers did him justice cause unlike Thomas, Zag respects all characters

17:12 Ah, the “strike it out on your own” approach. I came up with that exact same idea for Chloe’s arc this season. Have her try to track down hawkmoth without the use of any powers sounded very fun to me and to see someone have that same idea makes my proposal so much better as they could team up. Having the two friends unwittingly team up with each other sounds so fun to me.

Gotta love how when Gabriel got most of the other miraculous, he literally asked the rooster (forgot their name) to give him the power of finding and capturing ladybug and cat noir and the rooster pulled a bunch of rules out of nowhere. To me, that was the biggest instance of the writers pullin something out of their ass to cover up their own plot holes.

A new entire show of miraculous for older audiences would go so hard. Adrien’s abuse and neglect from his family affects him through everything even when being a hero and such a good foil to Chloe. And marinetterealizing her issues and her trauma and obsessions and becoming a better person through being a hero could go so hard. Another foil to Adrien kind of. Too much blind confidence turning to narcissism and abuse trauma turning into a sort of complacency. Like it could all be so good. Sidebar it feels so…anime? Like Astrid saw that one yandere game and wanted to make a kids show of it

true. There's a certain limit to how long u can keep neglecting a character, but miraculous has long ago broken that limit, especially with the results of s5's finale and the major hate train for ladybug/marinette.

In Kuro Neko, the writers had to nerf Plagg for the sake of the silly plot, because if he were the usual Plagg, he would have told Lady Bug all her truths.

from the bottom of my heart i genuinely think they were trying to turn chat noir into a villain. The whole cat noir left out arc is also the time we see hawk moth mentally at his best because of mayura, adrien had everything laid out for him to be the sympathetic villain his father tried to me. like minion, from Megamind, a sidekick that feels underappreciated and feels accepted by the other side. in the paris special we see Adrien admit doing the wish because he could get away with it easily. Honestly would have loved to see that.

Adrien/Cat Noir was so out of character in season 4 ! Adrien is caring ! He really cares for everyone even Chloe who was her children friend but she is a bully and did bad things. He really have a big heart. Even without Ladybug, Cat Noir always wanted to be Cat Noir ! He always loved his job as a hero ! That's so awful how the writer make him a dumb air head/sidekick and have only eyes for Ladybug ! He has no character development and he even doesn't follow his own originals characteristics traits. In season 4 he only cares about Ladybug which is a big NO ! Adrien cares a lot about his friends. Cat noir cares a lot about Ladybug but he is not that obsessed to be petty when she relies on others than him. He always welcomed other heroes too. What would be not out of character for him is Cat Noir feeling left out because LADYBUG always plan something without even considering him, that she doesn't relies on him because it seems that she may think that he can't be a hero anymore. He should feel betrayed not because it has to be Ladybug and him ! No he should feel betrayed because she always left him out of plan and that he is also a superhero so he have to save people too! Why does she always left him out from his duty? I feel like the writer of the show saw how Adrien/Cat Noir was being so popular so he decided to sabotage his character and make him selfish when Adrien/Cat Noir is clearly not selfish! Cat Noir always sacrifice himself for the sake of the mission because he TRUST deeply Ladybug so it clearly doesn't make sense that Cat Noir feels only jealous when he trust Ladybug's decision in the first place! What Ladybug did to him in season 4 was not right. He have the right to feel bad about it without making him petty and jealous! That's so ridiculous! Adrien/Cat Noir character was assassinated in these season... NB : sorry for the rant...

I guarantee you Thomas begged the team for him to ride the movie and the team find out that the fans actually hate Thomas so they did not let him write the movie they decided to make an actual good movie and he was kept far away from the movie and the movie turned out 10 times better with him not being involved he basically got fired from the miraculous team and won’t be working on future projects

The movie I guess is flawed, yes, but from what I heard of the story, it sounds incredible.

Welp you’ve reignited an old flame of hatred I had for this show. Like seriously I've had crushes before but if I acted like Marinette or Chat Noir I would be in jail right now. So much wasted potential, like why didn't Fu have Adrien and Marinette share the responsibility of being Guardian, yeah its entrusting children but at least theres two of them instead of one. The show keeps insisting Chat Noir is a partner not a sidekick but does Ladybug know because she doesn't act like it. Why does Ladybug keep getting power ups and not Chat Noir, he has one power while she has like 12. I know this show is for kids but Owl House, Gravity Falls, Adventure Time exist so there's no excuse. If anyone wants to read a good retelling of MLB I recommend the Scarlet Lady AU by Zoeoneesama. It's a what-if story if Chloe stole the Ladybug miraculous out of Mari's bag and becomes a superhero instead. The art is really good, its actually funny, and has some actually good writing. She does my boy justice because Adrien has to deal with so much BS in the comic (and in canon.) Great vid btw

16:20 The writers have been hit or miss on emphasizing this however as most joy he finds from superhero work is superseded by his love for ladybug and THAT overtakes his actual focus. He’s never seen going on patrol again after the truth/lies duology, and is seen mopping cause ladybug won’t pay attention to him in the show’s words. This show gives mixed signals when it comes to WHY he does what he does for what reason?

The idea of Adrien/Cat noir being left out was good but ONLY this idea because everything else was either out of character or either badly executed. Like the comment above mine said... Adrien suffered a lot in this season. I felt so bad for him because he was clearly out of character and his character was assassinated... It was very hard to watch it.

I honestly dont think they had an actual plan for the show. Let alone the characters. It would have been better if they had created a plan for the seasons, maybe made each one 6 months so that time actually passes. They grow in age and as people so that when Marinette is the guardian she is siteyr 15 or 16. And a bit more responsible. Maybe have less episodes for each season so you can still have filler but its mostly plot. Season 1: learning how to he heros, trying to blanace hero and school life, forming a partnership. As kids starting at a new school. Marinette shouldn't be obsessed over him. I dont really think they would spend much time together. Just focusing on tyring to balnace thier lives and secrets. Maybe as their friends become friends they start hanging out together in thosengroup things and start to get to know each other. Adrien is flying high and free completely loving his life as a hero, and is hit with an immediate crush for his partner. Pretty much the same but i think it might be more interesting if in his personal life he wasn't as nice at first. More off standish and places very little emotions into people or things. (Kind of like felix but less) Though he is greatful for his new unwavering friend and throughout the season he starts to warm up to him. Something to do with hawkmoth, I don't have any ideas for him.🤷 - The villains are not really that hard because hawkmoth is also new to this and isnt giving the most amazing powers. Season two: They have a bit more experience now. Hawkmoth starts stepping up his game, the enamies are harder and aee gradually becoming more brutal. Which would be a good reason for lady bug to recruit one new person to their group. (Though not completely just when they need the extra help. Maybe she recruites a few others out of complete panic because she doesnt know if they stand a chance. Like chloe as queen bee.) Life: School year is almost over (second semester) and finals are coming up. (Dont really know how paris schools work but you know) So life is becoming more stressful and its getting harder to come up with excuses. Maybe Marinettes parents are koticing her disaperrences and are concerned. Marinette is starting to have feelings for adrien but decides she wouldn't be able to have a relationship with him because he just wasn't interested. Tries to move on which is where luca shows up. - But he is more than just a side character, he is julias twin brother and actually cares for Marinette. - So they have this and maybe in the middle of the season he asks her out and they have their thing. Maybe she doesnt even look back at adrien because he isn't interested in her. Adrien now has a few more people he calls friends. His father introduced (idk remember her name but dragon lady) to adrien as a friend and possibly love interest, just as a new form of control of course. She does become infatualed with him because she has witnessed small acts of kindness behind that uncaring mask. He is strong, stronger than most. He could understand the overbering feeling of being controlled so she decides to stay in his life and they start to warm up to eachother as the season progresses. Season three: Lila is introduced, new year new characters. Chloes sister is introduced as well. Bringing a balance of good and evil. They have been at this for a year now. Master F (don't remember his name) is older and now trusts Marinette as she has grown as a person and a hero. So this starts her transition to the guardian. - more responsibility for Marinette forces the balance she had formed to tip, and everything needs to be worked over again. She and luka have been dating for around 5 months now, things are shaky. Since she has to disappear constantly and she isnt really sure if she is over her crush. Considering adrien is paying her more and more attention and starts standing up for her in class. She starts to learn more about his homelife and how he actually feels about everything. Chatblank happens due to them bexoming closer. (As an episode which adds to the stress and trauma.) Adrien has grown alot as a person. He and master F are also much closer and have strated training as well. If something were to happen to ladybug he would need to take over or find somwone who can. He and DL decided to give a relationship a try. He isnt really all in hit gives it a shot because she is kind, beautiful, funny, and cares for him like no one else has. So he tries but his hero life has a hold around him and so does lady bug. Causeing a strain on that relationship as well. Life and work balance is shaken. At the end of the season when she is about to become a guardian. Master f is taken along with all of the quanmies. - Idk how or why but season four is pretty much pointless and I feel like there should be a mix of four and five with a different ending. - somewhere in the last few seasons hawkmoth figured out who Master f is and made a huge plan or something. I'm honestly not puttung alot of effort into this outline. Season four and five can just be one season. Last semester of middle school pushes a new wave of stress over our characters. Especially in their relationships, Marinette broke it off with luka, it was becoming dangerous and she needed to find master f and the quanmis. That was her first priority. Staying iut later than usual skilping a class or two a week. Her parents are furious and are asking questions. Demanding answers so its tense. She is much less bubbly at school. while Adrien has found light in his friends and work. The situation sucked but he trusted ladybug and himself to find master F. He knew they could do it and he tried to put his worries to the side and focus on finals and the search, while also spending time with friends. Not tayt it didnt effect him, it did and he was terrifued fornhis master. But he didnt think master f would wish for him to be angry and rage through the streets...like ladybug. Things happen that lead to them loosing their miraculouses and everything then fights and character growth then the wish happens. Only the wish is not what the show did. My brian is jello trying to fix taht show ugh.

Overall I agree that Cat Noir is too much of a side character in the show and even some fanfictions make him a better character overall. I just wanted to share one fanfiction I've been enjoying. It's not yet finished, updates every Sunday/Monday and it's in a completely different universe, but it's just soo good. It's a story of the miraculous characters, but in a hunger games world. Really cool and not afraid to talk about more mature stuff like death etc. It's called "Games of Destruction" by DayRise1 and ScribeOfRhapsody on ao3. If you're bored I'd recommend to read it, it's really fun. (Didn't mean for this to be an ad, but it is what it is)

Personally I thought it would’ve been a cool plot if the timeline of the show was not the “it’s only been 9 months” BS, but instead it’s been eight years and the akumas are getting more and more aggressive ans vicious and the public is losing faith and getting frustrated with LB and CN because of how long it’s been they’ve been fighting HM with not even any leads. How cool would it have been with them fighting not just akumas, but the unrest and growing contempt of the public? Makes for an interesting storyline for the people who started watching as early teens who are now adults

Just one nitpick so far: Penalteam was only significant due to Chloe and Lila’s team up since that was a kinda being a big thing in S5. I didn’t care for the new heroes. Season 4 made me hate Ladybug even more but don’t worry the finale gave her a wake up call

The whole point of the chat noir not being called on and all him feeling upset about that is kinda dumb because he has his own miraculous with him at all times, he is free to join a fight at any time and doesn't, like he is needed and doesn't join, ladybug rarely called for him in season 1-3 and he was there, but now that she's guardian she's not gonna wait for him to decide and rightfully so

Curently at 21:15 in One of the problems in shows like this is that they dont have any idea how they will end it. Its lituraly way the "story circle" exist (u can break it or change) Im a new writer and one of the most important things my teacher said is to write down a start-middle-end, even if its just a basic idea it help a lot when writeing Ps. I did enjoy this a lot, do u have a discord or something so we can discuss story theorys and other stuff?

I think some of the best stories are also written end-start-middle or end-middle-start so you know where you want to end up, its just figuring out how you get there. Attack on Titan is a good example, as well as Arcane. Keeping your ending as the main focus of decisions you make for the story is probably the best way to write engaging, thorough, and thought-provoking stories. I'm a senior in game design so endings matter a lot for the story! Writing that way isn't always the way you want to go though, just depends on what you're making.

Everytime Chat tells ladybug that she is perfect and her mistakes aren't her fault and that he doesn't want to loose her is such a mary sue stroke for Marinete. It's so frustrating how they made him a giant simp because Thomas' imaginary child (Marinete) "is just perfect and flawless"

Yep. The fan-fiction the fans make are better. I’ll go and check out your story. I really enjoy stories where the show’s faults that were ignored/glossed over are exposed. There is another fic called “Marionette” by ive_been_thinking_too_much. It’s part of a 3 part series. Man those stories really exposed Adrien’s character and how he felt like he was a puppet on strings and how he began to break from being a puppet. It was quite brutal emotionally. It doesn’t shy away from the type of harm Gabriel inflicts on Adrien and how Adrien feebly tries to justify it by saying Gabe loves him even while he knows he is literally falling apart and that it is wrong. It also explores the fragility of LB’s and CN’s “partnership”. That was especially brutal to see.

Listen, I barely know anything about Miraculous besides the critiques I watch... But I'm about to open Wattpad bro. I'm intrigued, especially since I had a similar experience that led me to write a fanfiction of my own, albeit, it is Homestuck and not MLB Anyway, just found your channel, and I like it! Can get pretty intense/ranty though but I think that fits with your name lol, you have pretty solid criticisms and it's very sad to see this show with so much potential be drowning in mediocre writing and poor decision making

Season 4 reminds me of a conversation I once had with someone about the 2010 live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender adaptation. That it was a pile of trash with a few shining gems in it. Like Anng's tattoos and Yue's hair turning black when she gave back the life the spirits gave to her. In Miraculous's case, the gems were Mari, telling Alya and Hawk Mouth getting the Miraculous's, for example.

"Kuro neko" is a far as I know (and reaserched) supposed to be "black cat" Japanese. BUT THEY DIDN'T EVEN GET THE GRAMMARR RIGHT. Kuro means the colour black, the noun. To make it an adjective you have to add an i at the end. So If it is supposed to be japanese (I could be wrong), it says "The colour black, a cat". If anybody knows chinese plz tell me if Kuro Neko is reffering to that language istead.

There should be a miraculous series for a more older audience with better plot and more action. I feel that one of the reasons why miraculous is what it is is that, well, it’s a kids show. It’s made for the same kids who watch cocomelon (maybe a little older, but idk. I was around 5 when I watched it.) Kids don’t really focus on plot, they just want something to watch. Since sooooo many older kids and teenagers (and adults) watch miraculous, they should make a show with the concept of miraculous but for an older audience (PG 13 or older maybe). Something that is new and fresh, maybe the older version could be about Bridgett and Felix and their life. They make millions (maybe billions) on miraculous due to the popularity with kids and older audiences. Imagine if they made an older version of miraculous staring Bridgett and Felix, making the plot better and not as many filler episodes, with new and more characters (not the same 20 all the time) and better villains with better writing. Bridgett is actually relatable and acts like a teenager with a crush (NOT stalker and more happy to be around them + not abusive) and Felix actually has a plot to the way he is (He’s cursed and needs Ladybug to fall in love with him to break the curse) and maybe a slow burn relationship between Felix and Bridgett where there are actually cute and fluffy scenes. The parents aren’t abusing and actually care and love their kids, rather than being bad and letting them do what they want. Kinda like a slice of life, action, romance all in one.

24:48 I always assumed the scene with him breaking public property was for the reason of how the episodes are set out. They don't seem to be day after day, so probably a few days passed between the two episodes. Meaning there were probably more times where he was sidelined, so he got more and more upset over the days.

I did not expect to be hit with this audio 1:09:13 in a miraculous video. Anyway, I left both fandoms a while ago, i just check in with mlb either through buggachat's art, or videos like this. To get some ideas for potential au's or rewrites

I’m gonna be honest You would be the best villian or hero or just a character in this show like you would fix the entire story just because you exist in the story.

It's really sad to see how the rules that have been established in the beginning of the story are casually lifted to make Ladybug seem better while being applied harshly to Cat Noir. It's also sad how much he is written to be inconsistently bad at his job whenever the writers want to uplift another character (Skarabella is the best example for that) and how he's not allowed to have any real grievances with Ladybug treating him badly because it would make her look bad. He's become more of a plot device instead of a protagonist of the show with his name in the title. Even him quitting does not really result in bad consequences for Ladybug. That should have lasted several episodes if the writers wanted to go with solving the neglect situation by him quitting. Things should have gone wrong for Ladybug in that time making her and us see that yes, she does need him after all, and have her regret neglecting him. But it seems these kind of expectations are too high for writers of supposed good and popular brands these days...
