Hey new parents out there, don’t make the same mistakes these parents made. Take a hint when your baby is telling you that they don’t like something. You’re creating a bad food experience if you insist on it and that could lead to all kinds of eating problems.

That’s actually 100% incorrect! I’ve been a RN for over 20 years now and have worked in pediatrics the entire time. A very large number of people make tons of mistakes when they start feeding babies, and they don’t end up with eating problems down the line from a “bad food experience”. Too many people feed fruit before vegetables, and surprisingly, they only want/like the sweet stuff afterwards. Feeding your babies only the things they like actually creates a lot more food issues and very picky eaters down the line. This mom did perfectly. She tried without cramming it down her throat. You can try mixing it with cereal, or giving a couple of bites of the veggies and then give a bite a fruit, etc. So there are lots of ways to get the healthy food they need without making them choke and gag!
