I bought my 2009 Subaru Outback Sport from a dealership. They said it had an oil leak from the oil pan so they replaced it. Of course it was a "as is" no warranty vehicle because it was on the used lot. 2 days after my fantastic purchase, I jacked it up to change all the fluids and to give it an inspection. Immediately I noticed the NEW oil pan was leaking and......I noticed some of the best, highest quality of work I've ever seen. I just couldn't believe a dealership did this. I put it off as long as I could but it needed to be fixed. Plus I had to do a few other things while the engine was out.
I'm very thankful that I have my own shop and can work on my own stuff. I don't trust anyone. To many #youtube wrench turners claiming to be mechanics.
