Niantic can keep there eggs from this point forward. I played three days in LA and hatched 134 eggs and not one shiny. They claimed we would get increased chance to receive 10k eggs from spinning with a paid ticket but that didn’t seem the case either. Overall really disappointed in the whole event and doubt I travel for another one.

I have my egg count with 9 10km just so I don’t have to spin a PokeStop and end up with a 2km….also wish Ninatic could let us DELETE EGGS too but you know one can only dream

Facts are that XXLs and XXS’s on research, egg and non-shadow raid exclusive mons are actually of equal rarity to hundos due to the 10/10/10 floor, making the odds for a hundo match that of XXS and XXLs, being 1/216. Thing is though, I think a lot of people might not know this, because I noticed XXL and XXS shiny legendaries getting far less attention and hype than a shundo despite being just as rare.

You've got no clue how insane that Carnvine is. For those who don't live in and cannot travel to Florida, a shiny XXL Carnivine from those eggs is literally of equal rarity to a shundo (1/4,320). And this isn't even accounting for the fact it's at IV floor (10/10/10).

Why is it good to have the IV floor? Wouldn’t any IV be “as rare as a shundo” because each one is uniquely different? They all have the same probability?

True, they all have the same chance. But it's just special when it's the absolute lowest or highest it can get. It's just for certain collectors.

Hatched 68 mixed eggs in the event on Sunday for my first ever in person event. I hatched 2 shiny mime jr, 1 shiny chingling , and 1 shiny carnivine. However my Monday reward egg for walking 67 km for the week gave my first ever shiny rockruff and it s my first ever dusk form one too ! Today I hatched a shiny happiny.

This just made me realize that I shouldn't even bother with the shiny regionals, 100 eggs and not even one shiny pachirisu, no way am I spending money on this.. too bad, it's such a nice shiny😥

Save some eggs for the "Fridge technique" :)

No, only have to catch a dialga origin form that has the move. The free road to sinnoh research has you choose diamond or pearl. If you choose diamond, more likely to catch a dialga origin form with the move.

The only regional shiny I got was a certified but it was also a hundo so I wasn't too upset. 😅

360 eggs got me 4 Carnivine, 1 Pachirisu, and 1 Chatot. Got a bunch of others, like Mime Jr, and a few Munchlax, but overall a very expensive disappointment :(

On the research I got a Shundo cresselia

I went absolutely stupid today catching shinies. Started off with a shiny wooper than got a shiny turtwig and chimchar claimed couple of the free legendary research got a shiny heatran. Then coming home from work I caught a shiny Alakazam in the wild. I have no idea what going on I usually have shit luck with getting shinies but lately something in the air. Giggity

I feel like Niantic should give out more incubator for free by completing something for example spinning a poké-stop for 7 days or add a quest everyday to finish and if they finish they can get a egg incubator or pokécoins.

I had one last egg after the event and on monday, I got a shiny chatot!! While on a bus to Disneyland.
