I like Praesidus for both their watch designs and their conduct. The warranty dog tag is a neat touch! You know, I don't know if its because I am getting older or something but lately I too have an appreciation for simple, functional things. I like the dial layout and color choice. Its not cluttered and its easy to read at a glance. Sapphire might not scratch as easily but a friend of mine flew in the back of an aircraft and he bumped his watch with sapphire against the exposed airframe and it was cracked. I don't think that would have happened with both mineral and acrylic. That being said most people wont be in the back of a C130 so sapphire might be preferable for day to day activities. That's a good point about sapphire, I too have cracked one or two sapphire crystals in the past. I did break a mineral one too though 😅 Thank you for watching Johan, and like always, thank you for your kind words and support 🙏🏻

I can see why you liked it enough to buy it 👍 . My only gripe is the 24 hour sub-dial, I know it comes with that movement, but it still is pointless. By the way, my daughter scratched the domed hardlex on her Presage and I managed to polish it out completely using abrasive paper+diamond paste and then cerium oxide to finish, it wasn't quick, but it gave a great finish without using any power tools.
Would have preferred the sub-dials more centric to the centre which would have allowed the same font numbers size as for the 12 and 6. Just my preference. Nice video thanks.
That was a really good review Aviv. This is a watch I doubt I would have looked twice at before your video. You really captured the beauty of the dial. Personally, I might miss having a running second hand and I don’t love the caseback but that’s a minor thing. I wonder what the hardness level of the k1 crystal is? I don’t have experience with those. Great photography and solid review my friend. 👍👍

Thank you very much for the kind words Eric! I'm glad I could put this watch on your radar! K1 crystals are supposed to be very resistant to scratches, but not as much as sapphire.
I enjoyed your review. However, I already got the revived Newmark 6BB which was one of the original Fab4 brands.
That's a beautiful looking watch. It does have some military aesthetics to it without looking too sparse. Does anyone know whether a sapphire coated crystal is a real thing providing extra protection against scratches? K1 mineral with sapphire coating sounds like a lot of effort, why not use a sapphire crystal instead? One more niggle from my perspectiv e, I'm not a massive fan of this particular movement due to its lack of a running second.
A great looking watch. I'm with you on the fact that I much prefer watches with more busy, interesting dials. Plain dials I just find a little too boring. But, as you probably know, I'm not a quartz fan, but definitely a decent effort. Top review, as ever 👌
