Hey Daniel, if nobody had clarified names and services with insurance and hospitals since this video. The term you used "bezplatnaya" does indeed mean "free of charge" and it actually refers to these shared rooms with 4-6 people in them. This is the basic type of hospital coverage provided by the "free of charge" insurance for residents. The term is for this basic universal insurance is OMS, translates like "mandatory medical insurance". There is also DMS, translates as "additional medical insurance" which in fact gives you access to private room and a few other perks in hospital. DMS is provided by various private vendors and also includes access to private hospitals you mentioned for some procedures, but still each governmental hospital participates in DMS system. Therefore anyone can get referred into a hospital via OMS system and then chose to pay for DMS level service in hospital out of pocket. If you have DMS level coverage in your private insurance and your provider does not have private facility specifically for your treatment, they will refer you to regular hospital with DMS and you pay no extra besides insurance you have from provider.

Too much money corrupts. The cost of living is the most important issue. I totally agree with your point about litigation the compo culture in the west has eroded people's sense of fairness. Fair play to you for a very brave decision to make the move to Russia as the language hurdle is probably too much for a lot of people. Best wishes to you and your family for the future.

Good afternoon. Important information that in Russia a car is not a necessity. The infrastructure of the cities is designed in such a way that you can even walk to all the necessary places in 15-30 minutes. These include grocery stores (which are almost always 5 minutes maximum), and hospitals, schools, and kindergartens. You can also use public transport. It is very thoughtful and regular. Yes, and taxis are available. It is more profitable to use a taxi periodically than to spend on car depreciation. The fact that in the USA a car is important for a comfortable life (necessary) recently surprised me very much. For us, it is more of a bonus than a real necessity.

I had the same surgery in the USA with excellent insurance that covers 100% hospital costs after $300 deductible and 90% of all other costs when in network. I was in ER for 24 hours and hospital for 6 more days. I would not have been there that long but there was a shortage of surgeons and I was too sick not to be in the hospital waiting for an open sugery slot. Due to poor condition sugery was about 5.5 hours -- YIKES! Surgery was fine. Recovery time seemed rushed. Had full blood panels 2x a day the whole time. As soon as my blood tests were minimal accepable kicked me out and sent me home. My cost out of pocket was about $1100. Total medical bills charged, about $82,000, insurance negotialed down the costs. Then I got mad after I reviewed my online tests and medical notes. No wonder I was so sick at home. I had other stuff going on that should have kept me in the hospital. I learned from me and others that hospital visits cover only one emergency at a time while in the hospital. Perhaps your talk about not wanting to get sued is why theyndo not try to fix other problems at the same time? Tuat was July 2022 for reference. My surgery was 8n one of the best hospitals in the US. I tend to choose my medical care based on the quality of accurate billing and recordkeeping of the medical facility.

This is a great comparison. Thanks for sharing. Don't forget to add the monthly premiums to the cost. If I had this in the USA with my insurance I pay $250 a month. I have a $2,500.00 deductible and a 80/20 split for the first $10,000.00 then they pay 100%. So it would have been $4,500 plus my $250 a month. This does not count any meds.

Life without alcohol is fun, when you have enough entertainment. I am 23. I have no such habits, but I understand that it became something ordinary for most people, to drink after job, to smoke a cig when there are some free time... but for me it's just a bad habit that passively damages your body. I tried to understand both concepts, tried it and never liked it. I recommend finding a hobby to make it easier forgetting about an alcohol. PC games, for example, there is something for everyone. Hope your health got better over those 5 months!

Funny, stolen iP from us cars? Who would want that... If you said European or Japanese, it would make sense. I don't think that country is copying a b uick, che vrolet build or engine, etc.

They are 100% copying fords. I can't tell what they copy on the inside. I can only see the body styles.

Way too long: you keep repeating the same things three-four times, and then keeps repeating... I lost interest

I do have that problem, but I am not na professional. Others tell me my other videos are too short. I don't have a script, I just spoke what was on my mind.

@@danielsandlintravels6646 Thanks for replying to my comments. Maybe it would help you to make some editing to video, or change settings - make it like a conversation/chit-chat/ with group of friends. Or something else. Just a thought. I’d like your channel be successful. (BTW I still put “like”) Good luck!

I agree. I am always welcome of constructive criticism. My wife does it every day! This video was not edited at all. Since then I use an app so I can at least make an attempt to edit better. I like the idea of a conversation. I just purchased the microphone set up. Great idea.

Thanks for the comment. I don't think it is backwards necessarily. Many Russians become a doctor for different reasons. Now, you can still make a lot of money as a private doctor or surgeon.

Вы считаете высасывать фантастические суммы из пациентов у вас в медицине и делать пострадавших бездомными это лучше. Хотя соглашусь ,что доктора должны хорошо зарабатывать.
