    Also keep in mind that some of these are from years ago & she says that she doesn't really watch the movies more than only at the premiere, so it's natural to forget about them. You can't remember everything you had to memorize in school either.

    I think she is talented and stunning but I'm also taken slightly aback by the fact that there used to be and still often are these huge age gaps between actors playing married couples or lovers. For decades, we have been conditioned to look at very young girls in romantic parts where they have been matched with older men 10-20-30 years or more their seniors but onscreen their characters are supposedly "of an age" - and as a consequence we often find onscreen images of young women in their 30s to look "old" or "tired" instead of simply looking their age. It's awful.

    I know! Bend it like Beckham was fine because she actually plays a 16 year old - however Jonathan Rhys-Meyers as her coach is 8 years older than her and so was Orlando Bloom in PoC and they’re displayed as having grown up together and being the same age.

    Bend it like Beckham, I bought the DVD and watched until the media went transparent. Love this movie. Parminder Nagra stole my heart with her acting. Love Acttually is movie with a stelar cast. I love all of them.

    I love this woman! She’s such a strong, talented actor. She was doing better more considered work before she was 20 than many actors in their 50’s. I have thought she was incredible since the first time I saw her and that opinion only strengthens each time I see her work.
