I am so amazed at the work you do. You are a dreamer, a painter, an engineer and a draftsman. Many years ago, at least 50, I was a little girl living in Southern Michigan. I knew a family who had 3 boys. Each of those boys had your talent except for the youngest one. The youngest boy had talent too he could get you into so much trouble and he eventually stole my heart. I had three brothers too and so for several years we were friends, riding bikes, climbing trees, fishing and hiking. We would be friends for several more years and then my family moved out of state. Everytime I see someone who can visualize and creat things the way that you can I am reminded of my early life in Michigan and the magical summers of friendship and also puppy love that two kids can share. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.😊

Amazing work and I feel your pain with the books! Made a "fantasy library" book nook for a friend for last Christmas and basically turned it into an assembly line where I similarly glued printouts onto strips of scrap plywood and then ran those through a scroll saw and cleaned up the cuts. When you have to make over 200 books, you naturally end up with an assembly line project. Glued those books onto sized strips of thick paper and then glued those blocks onto the shelves.

As a fellow miniaturist, I AM impressed This is EXACTLY the kind of stuff I spent hours creating in my shared bedroom as a youngster...so instead of dolls (ick) I was more interested in making furniture to scale and figuring out how to build a milk carton to the size of the fridge shelf and then lettuce that looked like it and ... etc. Put down you electronic addictions folks and get creative!

Thank you so so much, i appreciate it a lot! As for your question: I guess it comes down to personal preference. For me, it’s just easier and more convenient to paint everything after i‘ve assembled it. It would probably look a little neater if it was painted beforehand. But it probably doesn’t make a very big difference, so just go with what suits you best! :)

I started watching and then could not stop. Amazing work. And your humor made me laugh so hard. Your patience to create these tiny things “without losing your mind” is well above the average human.
That is beautiful, in every detail and hard work is the work of an artist. It looks like the room of a sad poet, well maybe not sad, perse, but a deep thinker, we'll say. That is beautiful. Your hands and mind are an instrument of beauty.
Well done you.

Excellent. The talent and time that you have put 'and the patience' into making this tiny room is lovely even down to the last little detail. I like the miniature envelope as well.
Now I know why I kept my phone boxes..lol. I just love all the details in your work especially the quill pen. There's just 1 more thing that would make it petfect (only to me) and that would be something under the bed. Maybe an old suitcase or perhaps a pair of slippers. You have inspired me in my miniature world. Thank you.

Perfect..not petfect..lol
😮 this is just what i need for inspiration. I'm busy with a book box. And the inside is a 3 story library. At times i also feel like losing my mind with making all the very small details. But its stl fun though. And your cuticles...i call them my crafter's cuticles😂 thank you for sharing your wonderful works of art. And by the way...your mini painting are amazing, and your self portrait ❤

Sounds exhausting, but like a great project! And thank you so much fot your kind words!
Amazing and so inspiring! I’m just starting out in miniatures and this really helps to learn technics and tricks. thank you!
So young but so talented!!👍😃 All the tiny details are so adorable!-- All from an old phone box. Well 👏done!! 🐾🌈☮️🇨🇦
I did a mini kitchen in a mini bread loaf pan using just match sticks to make everything in it. Had made to sell but like it to much and kept it.
I really love your videos, they're inspiring and relaxing at the same time! I do hope we will see many more of them! Grüße aus Holland 😊
You are an artist! I appreciate your hard work very much! Especially the books!!
If someone bullies you for any reason, that shows every insecurity about that person and nothing about you! You're an amazing artist! Thanks for putting your work on video!
Mesmerizing! The tiny detailed pieces of art, the minuscule desk accessories and the hodge-podge placement of the books on the shelf--so incredible and authentic. I started to say almost realistic , but this is realistic just in a very tiny world!
I love your background music, but I also like it when you talk. ❤ Your self-portrait is amazing, as well as your little paintings and the sculpted things on the desk. I like making little things, but I don't have the patience to make them as miniscule as you do. Kudos!!

I can't get over how excellent the tiny artwork is. Wow. Great project.❤
Really cool how you were able to do the details. I was mesmerized by your work. One thing I'd add is either a dog or a cat laying on the bed,
Très beau. Merci pour ce partage.
I love this!!! ❤❤
Wow. That is brilliant. Love the open book , the books on the bookshelf and the gorgeous floor. ❤
Wow! Amazing, such tiny pieces throughout.Such talent and creativity, all those tiny things on the desk, the books.Brilliant .I love this 🥰
Katharina, with an "a" that stands for "awesome" 👏 I couldn't believe it when I saw you making the paper, the envelope and the quill (well, and the whole room). And watching your videos is really wholesome 🙏 Just a question as I have no experience in model making: Why don't you paint (some of) the parts before glueing?

Thank you so so much, i appreciate it a lot! As for your question: I guess it comes down to personal preference. For me, it’s just easier and more convenient to paint everything after i‘ve assembled it. It would probably look a little neater if it was painted beforehand. But it probably doesn’t make a very big difference, so just go with what suits you best! :)

No idea why this was in my recommendations, but so glad it was. Amazing talent. Such attention to detail. Subscribed straight away.
Beautifully created, dear ❤
you have amazing talent ❤
In absolute awe of your work!
That's magic! And I bet tiny magical creatures live there and they walk here and there while you're sleeping😊
Eu amei muito lindo. 🥰👏👏👏👍👍👍❤❤❤🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
I love that it wasnt a perfect setup of the books. Some were wonky or laying down, so satisfying to watch.
You are amazing!!! Who cares about your cuticles, you had my total attention with your craft and artistic abilities. I love it!!!
The most amazing and best video I’ve seen in a while! Well done for making something so beautiful from using every day things, but most of all thank you for bringing me back to my childhood when I had little but made my own dolls house etc and had such fun! Lovely memories… thank you -Louise and Emily ❤
I agree totally with Adam. I truly enjoyed your talents. TFS. WOW!
I'm back....and still as much in awe as I was the first time! You have such incredible talent and I love your humor. ❤
Wow, the talent and the patience! I am in awe of you.
I am absolutely in love with your art!!!! I can't wait to see more! I'm transported to a new world! ❤
Thank you for making this lovely video. See your process was captivating. I was moved to tears over the finished room and it's story.
I love all the parts, but that painting of the moon over the water is so cool! I have so much trouble with patience nowadays that I would have to make myself go do something else in another room so I wouldn't keep messing with things. Like waiting for the glue to try on the table legs.
BEAUTIFUL. Reminds me of.my godfather who was a cabinet maker in the early to mid 1900's. He made wooden dioramas of German kitchens from his childhood. Beautiful !!!!!
I think you have a great idea with the tape holding the cups. I made a dollshouse and all those little tricks are great.
This is so creative! When I thought it was finished you always found a way to add more detail and improved it, this is very inspiring.
You are incredibly talented! And I love your sense of humor. Amazing build!
You're an amazing artist. All those tiny details! Lovely.
Brilliant! Gave me inspiration to get on with my own little cottage that I've been procrastinating on... Thanks!
Just astonishing. And thank you for having soothing music as a soundtrack.
