Damn you got a fabulous move Alex! As for the clubs, I think it's too early to really say. The price will determine how popular they become. With companies like Takomo delivering beautiful irons at an unbelievable low price, they may be a hard sell.

They look great Alex £2.5 k isn't the end of the world for a set you'd use for 5 + years Muira are just as expensive But there's a serious problem out there for every iron /manufacturer this year...... Mizuno 243 I cannot possibly see how anything can be better Players profile, top line, graduated sole bounce from 4 iron at 2 degrees to GW at 9 degrees They feel amazingly good Soft copper underlay and turf interaction is second to none But they have another trick 225 into a breeze par 3 sloping green from back to front I hit a 4 iron out the toe almost on the chrome.... And it still made it all the way back to the pin and stopped softly The landing angle on the 243's is very steep and the height is amazing with more spin yet they travel 10 yards further without super jacked lofts Try them on the course Alex You'll be flabbergasted
I just got a set of Forged Tech X irons. They look good, feel good and give me lots of help with a higher trajectory. I’m very happy with them. Cobra is on a nice run of making great irons for a wide variety of players. I’m sure these new ones are fabulous but I have a hard time figuring out where performance improvements will come from. By definition, they’re not forged but who knows what 3D printing can do.
Love the video clubs look beautiful. Love the tech. And it is really fascinating 3D metal printing that you can make something like this now it's just incredible! But let's face it these aren't made for the average Joe every day worker golfer like me. These are a luxury item really cool. But just like a Rolex I ain't going to get one of those either. But heck yeah I love Tech and if I had the money yeah they'd be in my bag. It would be fun to try.😅
I just bought a used set of Mizuno jpx ez forged irons, with Boron in them(2016 version) I'd love to see what you think of them 😁
Is the net back open? What happens if you get water or sand in there? Weight affected? Beautiful clubs!

We have definitely not maxed out all other possibilities. However, we are absolutely going to have more and more 3D printed clubs as well as 3D printed clubs are going to be able to be produced faster and enmass. It's just an obvious next step.

That lattice looks like a dirt magnet to me, especially if it goes all the way inside the club.
Well it doesn't matter if I want them or not. Chances are influencers and the "in club" will get them. I'd actually buy them as a 15 handicap who's only ever owned Cobra. I started with Cobra transitional, then bought the RAD Speeds full set. I'd be the only one (if able to purchase) who would actually play them and not use them to garner views or put them on the wall as a trophy. Update: I actually got a set! Put a set of MMT Stiff 85g shafts. Let's go!!!
Those irons are about 2 degrees too much offset for me. Let's connect and play a match my brother? Where are you located?
How do you clean out that lattice? I don't like plaques, badges, rubber, plastic pieces on back as they get banged and dirty and are hard to clean. Looks like they left that part open to show the inside. I would have put a clear epoxy on that part to keep it sleek and clean.

Let’s be honest, most of us would be far better off spending on extra lessons rather than buying any new clubs, but we still buy new irons, drivers, hybrids, putters in the hope that they will be the magic ingredient to fix our game 😂
This could recover their one length line. The ability to move weight around to make the right ball flight is great to have. People forget this is a first consumer limited proof of concept. No doubt they will be pricey.
was the back lattice area enclosed or open? if open after a few months of dirty courses, i wonder how much extra weight in dirt you would have in the back of the head...that you cant remove because its deep in the lattice

Was curious with your pants do you get them tailored like that or is there a brand that you wear that is short like that I’m 5 foot 7 trying to find pant like that
I’ve recently calculated that since 1976, along my 48 year sojourn in golf, just over 4800 rounds of golf, over 40 sets of irons, 25 sets of woods (incl driver) and another 30 drivers alone; to that well over 70 putters and at least 50 various wedges. That’s well over $100,000 and including balls, golf wear, shoes, etc. I’d estimate well over two hundred thousand dollars spent on golf. For 46 years I’ve hovered around a 7 handicap. Every new thing that promised I’d get to my scratch handicap goal was in my bag as soon as available. If all the driver distance claims were true, I’d be hitting 350 yards at age 70. Honestly, equipment hasn’t made much of a difference in my game. Sure, mailbox size drivers today are longer and forgiving compared to a 250cc MacGregor Tommy Armour 693 but at 27 I carried a Titleist balata 240, just 10 short of the tour average. Today I can just barely roll it out there with a 40g stiff shafted graphite on my TSi3 driver. (See, I haven’t bought a driver in a few years.) I gave up my Mizuno and Titleist blades a few years ago and brought out what I thought were among the most unattractive irons I’d ever seen but promised forgiveness and distance. I’ve been playing the Ping Rapture V2J for two years now and these 15 year old irons are likely what I’ll exit with. These new Cobras look great. Would I like to have a set? Sure. Would my scores improve? I don’t believe so. I’d pay $10,000 a set if they’d guarantee I’d get to scratch. But like new cars, it feels great to have one. Btw if my first equipment purchase of around $1000 was invested in say Berkshire-Hathaway it’d be worth over $15 million today. But my adventures in golf were worth it. If you can afford these Cobras, get ‘em. It’ll feel good. Fairways and Greens! PenguinGolf
Collectors item. Resale price likely to exceed initial Cobra price
316L SS is a super common Stainless Steel. Its just a slightly lower carbon content then regular 316SS making it slightly more rust resistant. Nothing special there...
