@@ivanlevrone247 I’ve always been curious about those. The theory seems sound. My mother is extremely upright over the ball and I’ve thought one length irons might really help her. She’s 70 and I don’t want to mess with her swing too much so I didn’t try it. Instead I got rid of her 3, 4, and 5 iron replaced with hybrids. All cobra of course

They look great Alex £2.5 k isn't the end of the world for a set you'd use for 5 + years Muira are just as expensive But there's a serious problem out there for every iron /manufacturer this year...... Mizuno 243 I cannot possibly see how anything can be better Players profile, top line, graduated sole bounce from 4 iron at 2 degrees to GW at 9 degrees They feel amazingly good Soft copper underlay and turf interaction is second to none But they have another trick 225 into a breeze par 3 sloping green from back to front I hit a 4 iron out the toe almost on the chrome.... And it still made it all the way back to the pin and stopped softly The landing angle on the 243's is very steep and the height is amazing with more spin yet they travel 10 yards further without super jacked lofts Try them on the course Alex You'll be flabbergasted

I just got a set of Forged Tech X irons. They look good, feel good and give me lots of help with a higher trajectory. I’m very happy with them. Cobra is on a nice run of making great irons for a wide variety of players. I’m sure these new ones are fabulous but I have a hard time figuring out where performance improvements will come from. By definition, they’re not forged but who knows what 3D printing can do.

Love the video clubs look beautiful. Love the tech. And it is really fascinating 3D metal printing that you can make something like this now it's just incredible! But let's face it these aren't made for the average Joe every day worker golfer like me. These are a luxury item really cool. But just like a Rolex I ain't going to get one of those either. But heck yeah I love Tech and if I had the money yeah they'd be in my bag. It would be fun to try.😅

I started with Cobra transitional, then bought the RAD Speeds full set. I'd be the only one (if able to purchase) who would actually play them and not use them to garner views or put them on the wall as a trophy. Update: I actually got a set! I’ve recently calculated that since 1976, along my 48 year sojourn in golf, just over 4800 rounds of golf, over 40 sets of irons, 25 sets of woods (incl driver) and another 30 drivers alone; to that well over 70 putters and at least 50 various wedges. That’s well over $100,000 and including balls, golf wear, shoes, etc. I’d estimate well over two hundred thousand dollars spent on golf. For 46 years I’ve hovered around a 7 handicap. Every new thing that promised I’d get to my scratch handicap goal was in my bag as soon as available. If all the driver distance claims were true, I’d be hitting 350 yards at age 70. Honestly, equipment hasn’t made much of a difference in my game. Sure, mailbox size drivers today are longer and forgiving compared to a 250cc MacGregor Tommy Armour 693 but at 27 I carried a Titleist balata 240, just 10 short of the tour average. Today I can just barely roll it out there with a 40g stiff shafted graphite on my TSi3 driver. (See, I haven’t bought a driver in a few years.) I gave up my Mizuno and Titleist blades a few years ago and brought out what I thought were among the most unattractive irons I’d ever seen but promised forgiveness and distance. I’ve been playing the Ping Rapture V2J for two years now and these 15 year old irons are likely what I’ll exit with. These new Cobras look great. Would I like to have a set? Sure. Would my scores improve? I don’t believe so. I’d pay $10,000 a set if they’d guarantee I’d get to scratch. But like new cars, it feels great to have one. Btw if my first equipment purchase of around $1000 was invested in say Berkshire-Hathaway it’d be worth over $15 million today. But my adventures in golf were worth it. If you can afford these Cobras, get ‘em. It’ll feel good. Fairways and Greens! PenguinGolf

316L SS is a super common Stainless Steel. Its just a slightly lower carbon content then regular 316SS making it slightly more rust resistant. Nothing special there...

Is this Cobra saying this is how good we can make irons if you can afford them, unfortunately if only a small percentage of golfers can afford them so most golfers won’t take a second look.

Titleist CNCPT is the same thing, very expensive but the tech in them has bled into the T series, it'll come down in price in the next 1 or 2 generations

The more that technology advances it will get cheaper. The metaljet printers are currently super expensive to operate. We also have to pay for the marketing freebies they send "influencers"

The best forgiving iron is the one you hit out of the center of the clubface. If you want to get better work on your game with purposeful practice. You don’t need new clubs!

Yet 90% of tour pros have moved from blades to more forgiving irons I wonder why? Oh that’s right, it’s impossible to hit it out the middle every time and only a idiot would take something that helped when it happens.

Don’t think the face could be 3D printed because 3D printed materials have a lot of porosity and won’t be strong enough for the face. The body is 3D printed but face has to be forged.
