Something I wanna highlight at 14:07 is how the crowd reacted. They waited until they saw he was breaking away before they threw their hands up and got loud. Super cool that EA took so much time to put little details like that into the game. They really add up and make it feel more immersive

This game just looks so much more natural than the newer madden games, if that makes any sense. Like the players move more like people and look like they have some weight behind them. I’m super excited!

Unless Edwards was trolling bro I think Edwards might become more of a gamer now , this the first football game in his life time that's actually realistic and pretty close to how things function in real life... I think most real football players will always be better in football games than even great gamers cause they just see the field waaay differently

Yeah that statement is 100% true. Especially playing at that level of college football and further. I think its just more so of being able to understand the assignments clearly. Playing HB even just at the college level, translates to finding the gaps easier when running the ball in madden such as using the ladder, setting up blockers and waiting for cutback lanes.

Attention to detail is crazy. 14:51 when Edwards breaks a tackle to score you can see the fans go crazy once they know he made it to open field

I think what they showed in the gameplay trailer was the quality mode which is usually 30 fps, and what Bordeaux is showing is probably performance mode which is 60 fps.

Yeah it helps some but a Video Game is not real and it works differently. Which is why in Madden you can use one formation and just adjust and cook people. However, this dude probably grew up playing Madden and most young players play video games. Many Athletes play sports games. That helps a lot. Plus, though BD plays NCAA for a living he doesn’t play competitive. A lot of the Mut streamers who also play NCAA probably would have fared much better.

When I used to play and didn't understand football schematics much, I wasn't very good at the game, but once I actually took time to understand football concepts better and was learning how to make better reads, then I actually became more of a solid player on madden. Trust, Edwards real life football experience is why he played well on the game, plus Bordeaux is more of an offline player

Glad to see Scott having a influence on the game hopefully NBA Live releases soon. 2K hasn’t been the same since he left.

Thanks for sharing! Even though I’m a buckeye fan, you can’t help but respect what TTUN has accomplished lately. The atmospheres, traditions and improvements all around are incredible! Excited to see your journey playing this game in the near future.

I love when running that you can see/feel the momentum of their weight. It's not just a smooth animation like previous games.

I wish they add realism movements to defense pre-snap, the player shouldn’t be running/turning their entire body away from the line of scrimmage without keeping their head on the swivel. I seen a vid on madden 25 showcasing the small details of defensive players moving fluently and communicating pre snap. Edit: maybe I haven’t played any football game since 14 but I like how when you made the big grad on the sideline w/ Texas and the sideline reaction to it

Don't know who you are, but this was a DOPE experience you got to be a part of, despite getting beat down lol.

Blocking out of the back field is still horrible. 21:15 the Fullback runs into the ball carrier just like we see in Madden. Other than that, running the ball will be easy.

While there’s still some of the Frostbite jankiness that you see in Madden, gameplay looks a lot smoother with a lot of promise. Very happy to see passes being layered and WRs being thrown open, as opposed to super human LBs and CBs picking them off while jumping and facing the wrong way. I also like seeing the WRs react to INTs as opposed to doing nothing. While I still wish they’d build a new physics engine, it’s showing a lot of promise. I hope it’s good on release with minimal bugs, and I hope the AI as well as new user features implemented will remove cheese plays.

The part I noticed the most that I know they focused on a couple times in the EA video is that the catches actually seem natural. There was maybe a _little_ bit of ball warping but in most cases it wasn't noticeable at all and certainly a huge improvement from Madden.

@@ninetailedfox579121 yeah, and the pass defense looked balanced. The biggest issue i saw was inconsistent o-line AI, as well as terrible pursuit angles, and players getting stuck on one another. Def not as egregious as Madden tho
