She’s the most lowkey professional. Getting married and dropping a pro shoe in the same year are huge accomplishments and I hope to see her take home the gold in the next Olympics!!!

@TheForgottenBorough no, it's celebrated because people like attention and want to feel important. Getting married isn't an accomplishment, and the divorce rate being 60% supports this. Staying married will be an accomplishment.

@TheForgottenBorough a debate has nothing to do with emotions or how you feel about something/someone. Fact of the matter is that marriage, especially in the Western world, is a flawed, failing tradition, and anyone with half a brain cell can see this. Now, if we look at other cultures that still have arranged marriages and two people are forced to be together by their families, is this an accomplishment? Try bringing something legit to the chat next time. Again, I applaud her for the shoe 👌
