once again you do not disappoint, great job. i love watching you, you give me encouragement to go out and work on my yard. because of you i managed the hedge between me and my neighbor. it is a rental so owner will not see the results. even though i am 70 i work carefully and at my own pace and i get it done. so lovely that you have rain and so much greenery. US western region we are desert and are in a drought. i only have small amount of greenery. water is costly. thanks so much.

I’m in the Central Valley in California and we definitely need the rain! Even on Christmas Day it’s warm and sunny! Lol, my husband’s niece who lives in England brought her husband to California for Christmas for the first time a few years ago. My sister in law lives by the beach on the central coast, my niece’s husband got red from the sun, he’s so pale! lol.. he said his family will be shocked he got a sunburn during Christmas but it turn to a nice tan by the time they flew back to England. He couldn’t get over how warm and sunny our California Christmas was while England has a real beautiful fall with rain and a snowy winter Christmas. We got invited to visit them during Christmas and stay at their home outside of London in the countryside, they told us to bring warm clothes lol

I am also surprised when I hear that somewhere there is no snow or it is hot at Christmas, we have rains and snow at this time, but it sometimes melts quickly. Sometimes, though, I want to go somewhere hot for Christmas!😂

Ich habe dich überhaupt nicht um das Wetter beneidet, aber diese Woche würde es wahrscheinlich noch schlimmer werden. Hier schneit es und ich habe draußen bereits 70 cm Schnee. The laurel leaves are so pretty. A florist or DIYer could find uses for them in Christmas decor. You do such precise pruning and do a perfect job leveling the tops. I admire your work ethic and envy your shoulder strength.

Finally, I'm catching up today! It struck me when you were trimming the hedge that's fenced in along one side that your view of that situation is probably much different from mine and, probably, every other non-professional facing a hedge. I would heave a sigh of relief that I had a ready-made flat surface to follow for a smoothly trimmed face. But it seemed frustrating for you and to make it more difficult since you couldn't make your usual sweeping, cutting motions. Proof that there truly is an art to what you do. We all know it, but that just put my hedge cutting dreams to rest! 😂 I'll just keep on being content to watch you work your magic. It looked absolutely beautiful when you were done. And in miserable weather, too. It looked like a cold rain - the worst! I admire your tenacity! 🌳🌳🌳

It is true that the hardest part of this kind of work is the access to the hedges and the more plantings there are, it makes the work much more difficult, that's why in Germany many gardeners charge extra for this kind of work.

You always do such a beautiful job of clean up!

You did a great job on those hedges! But I wish homeowners would learn how to choose the correct size trees for their yards and plant them in the right spots. With a mature diameter of 40 to 50 feet, a sugar maple is too large a tree for this yard, especially when three of them are planted less than 3 feet apart and less than 3 feet from a fence. They will need to be butchered regularly to keep them under control, and they will never be able to express their full "mapleness," instead becoming bonsai versions of themselves!

He visto que has tenido varios videos con lluvia, no se si te incomoda o te afecta, en lo personal me encanta caminar bajo la lluvia, claro tu estas trabajando y no se que sentirás, pero será, nada que hacer con el clima. Hiciste un lindo y buen trabajo como siempre, no se si con todo mojado se te hace más difícil maniobrar los equipos y las hojas se ponen más pesadas, cuéntame para saber. Duda, tu mano esta total y al 100% recuperada, después del accidente te vi haciendo trabajos muy duros y por eso me surge la duda. Como siempre espero estés muy bien y gracias por hacernos llegar tus videos mas seguido, se que te cuesta, pero al menos yo estoy contenta de verte. 👍👏👏👏👏👏

He encontrado tu comentario, gracias por atenderme, tengo el dedo un poco entumecido pero puedo sujetar la recortadora completamente. En cuanto a trabajar bajo la lluvia, incluso me gusta trabajar bajo la lluvia, si no llueve muy fuerte porque refresca un poco y es mejor que trabajar con calor, pero recoger las hojas y los recortes de césped es mucho más difícil, aumenta el peso de las bolsas, también tengo que rociar las cuchillas de la recortadora con spray para evitar que se oxiden. Cuando llueve fuerte no puedo grabar vídeos porque todas las imágenes salen borrosas, además hace unos días que tenemos nieve y nieve derritiéndose, así que puede que haya un nuevo vídeo la semana que viene, pero intentaré grabar algo, ¡muchas gracias por seguir mis vídeos! 😊

I sit here in 10 minus and Long for mild enough weather to experience rain, but also remember how unpleasant it is to have to work in it. You work on the biggest hedges I've ever seen, and you trim them straight and level. I'm always amazed at your ability. I was relieved in this video when you adjusted your ladder. Falling from ladders is the number one on the job injury here in the States. 16 years as a Specialist in Laboratory Safety, I can't seem to stop noticing safety issues. Please be safe.
