You’re so right ! How could I have forgotten ! It smelt almost identical EXCEPT of course it didn’t last at all ! I couldn’t smell it after like 10mins ! And you know baccarat is known for lasting ! - it did have a little chemical smell to it tho - like some undertone /- but the opening is almost identical

Have you ever heard of someone buying from Neiman Marcus and it was a fake? One thing I notice is that I couldn’t really smell the fragrance when I sprayed it from the bottle. I’ve tried samples and the smell was stronger.

Yes even the tones of the red and gold were so evident - if you can see that on camera you would Deff notice that in person !

@@NavadineAntoinetteI bought a real one from the Maison we website an it smells nothin like my 2020 batch . It’s more watery color and not as thick as my older batch and doesn’t smell as cotton candy . I think it’s been reformulated after 2020.

Wow....I'm surprised your video doesn't have more likes. I watched your video last night...well a couple of hours ago, lol and went over to Ebay to see if I can spot fakes and there are a LOT. This one seller had sold a LOT. With those janky "J"s and that off color white box with the bright white booklet. Thanks for sharing this so that people can be informed.

Also another difference is the silhouette of the glass on the inside. The part that actually touches the juice if that makes sense. On the real one it curves in towards the center and then back out again where as the fake one just comes down straight slightly in towards the bottom.

I'm originally from Russia and agree. There are tons of fakes going around there and niche perfumes as well. Other post Soviet countries are also flooded with fakes.

Thanks for the video! They got the "j" wrong on the bottle label just like they did on the box as you showed.

Some fake sellers nustify their products as "rejects" for whatever irregulariity that might have occured in preparing the cologne or perfume, they claim it could be in the packaging, the juice or whatever ...so im always confused when it comes to this, similar to clothing brands some "fakes" are taken from the factories for a crooked stitch or whatever

Hello. I heard that the batch code gives the year the perfume was created with the first two numbers (ie: 18002 was born in 2018). Is that true? If so, it seems that would be a great way to check if a perfume is fake, too. I bought one with a batch code of 28442 and I think, if what I said is true, this would be a fake perfume because the year 2028 hasn’t rolled around yet . . .

Where did your mon bought the fake one? Did you purchase directly from maison website? I'm thinking to buy directly from their website,but scare dhl will replace it with fake one.

I just registered an account with Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and the Maison Francis Kurkdjian website itself. I ended purchasing bottles from Saks and the Maison. It's just easier to spend the extra money and not worry about fakes or being scammed. You don't know what people are mixing or putting in bottles. Atleast if my skin falls of...Neiman, Saks and Maison has lawsuit revenue.

Anyone looking to try it out before committing all that money...I bought the Dossier one, Amber Saffron. Baccarat Rouge 540 is soooo expensive. So, I wanted to try out the Dossier one to see if it's for me. It's lovely, but doesn't last. But, hey for $35...you get what you pay for.

Always look at the J if it has a round curve, it's fake. The real baccarat J in Kukdjian is straight down

Oh no😳 I’ve gotten scammed before too it absolutely sucks!!!🥺 It was on a coco Mademoiselle and I paid $100 on eBay😭So then I had to go to Sephora and buy another REAL one. I reported them and then they removed themselves from EBay , so I didn’t get my money back. I don’t buy fragrances from eBay now.😥

I sell authentic fragrances on EBay and being a seller, people often try to scam me.. I sincerely hate your experience but not all Of us are bad.. There are some fragrances that I wouldn’t try to skim on and I’ll just pay the price without hesitation and this is one of them.. Kilian fragrances, and Mancera Fragrances as well..

I agree with Aisha, I’m also an eBay seller and I’ve sold Louis Vuitton and Kay ali frags on their - and I’ve bought them directly From the official websites - it’s sad that People can’t trust eBay anymore because of things like this , but I would say it’s actually safer to buy from a person seeming to sell their own personal items than an actual website via eBay , because a person most like likely would have just the one real one to sell where a company can manufacture a bunch of fakes , make sense ?

FYI ..where I live in the Arabian Gulf there are hundreds of perfumers/houses, they have been in the business for the past hundred odd years, and these houses are masters beyond any shade of a doubt. When MFK BR540 was introduced the majority of us knew that this fragrance is not new to our noses..we had so many similar blends/oils...etc of this composition...and these are not expensive they are priced around 30 to 80 US$... it goes without saying how gorgeous the bottles and the packagings are (I am a collector)...it is not a bad thing to compare things, in my experience I found the local blends surpassed and they ticked all the boxes.

That’s exactly what I was thinking about since I got the MKF 540,I smelled it before it’s not new to me ,I’m Arab too by the way . I Live in the US ,but as I heard and as u said there are a lot of dupes the are way better,but people here in the US don’t know about cuz they don’t have access to all of them.
