I've just fixed this myself on a Galaxy Lamp 2.0. Here is the problem. You just need a screwdriver and nothing else. Open the projector outside casing and while having the projector ON slightly loosen the screws that are holding that black piece on top of the gears and you'll notice as you loosen tension that the clicking noise stops.. At that point leave the screws as they are. Put the outside casing back on and problem solved. No more clicking noise here when using the rotation function 👍🏻 I hope it helps other people there in the future!

This is not just a problem with Blisslight projectors unfortunately. I've tried several and at first it makes no noise whatsoever. After 2-3 weeks it starts rattling when spinning. Seems to be just low quality in general.

I tried loosening the screws on the inner casing first and that didn’t work for me. WD-40 (all I had) worked like a charm. I had to give it a couple of blasts since I was trying to be really careful but it now runs almost silently!

So after fixing this myself I’m pretty certain that the problem is in fact the silver motor. I wouldn’t recommend doing what I did as WD-40 isn’t necessarily electronic safe, but I sprayed the smallest spray of wd-40 into the motor holes (similarly to your use of contact cleaner) and it’s silent now. I would recommend trying canned air or electronic safe cleaner instead, but wd-40 is all I had. If you do use wd-40, definitely try to stay away from the wires attached to the motor and use as little as possible.

Can you use all the functions and get all the different (mixed and unmixed) patterns without the app ? And when you install the app, does it ask permission to access all your phone data (camera, location etc) ?

Dude straight up a screwdriver doesn't open the screws on this. When I look into the holes it's a hexagonal shape but allen keys won't catch. I'm stumped 😔

You have to get an allen wrench long enough to reach it. The newer version is not phillips.
